The software deep dives into your system, scanning all files, folders, subfolders, extensions, etc... Pros Malwarebytes is a very simple tool to use, from downloading it to your first scan. The controls are easy to understand and obvious. You don't need to search for which button to use. Cons Just like any "FREE" software, there are upgrades. The manual scan feature is the only free function available. The value for money is solid for small and medium operations that want powerful threat remediation without wrestling with an overly complex security suite. Pros The threat detection engine is exceptional at catching malicious software that standard antivirus tools often miss. The user interface in the cloud management console is clean, modern, and very simple to navigate, making endpoint deployment across workstations straightforward. Scans run quickly and the performance impact on newer endpoints is minimal during background real time monitoring. But holy heck, this is one of the best products on the market. Backed by 20 years of innovation and crushing malware! You cant go wrong with MWB - best value for the money on the market, amazing customer support that actually cares AND WILL HELP YOU! They regularly patch and release updates that takes care of bugs. The learning curve is very low - intuitive tool built for Business needs! Scheduled full scans can also spike resource usage on older legacy machines. It’s reliable for day‑to‑day protection and doesn’t get in the way while I’m working. I use it to scan systems, check alerts and make sure nothing weird is running in the background. It catches threats early and gives peace of mind. There are small issues like long scans or false positives, but nothing major that stops me from using it. For a business security tool, it’s solid and easy to manage. Pros Malwarebytes is light and fast it runs. At work we use it mainly for scanning and catching suspicious stuff, and it doesn’t slow down the system like some other security tools I’ve tried. The dashboard is clean and I can run scans or check alerts without digging around. Threat detection is strong it catches PUPs and weird files that other tools sometimes ignore. Updates are quick and don’t interrupt my work. It’s also easy to deploy on multiple machines, which saves time. Cons Sometimes the scans take longer than expected, especially full system scans. A few times it flagged safe files as suspicious, so I had to whitelist them manually. The reporting could be better it gives the basics but not much detail unless you export things. Our devices have not been infected because it continuously scans all files being run. I highly recommend it for everyone. Pros The best thing about Malwarebytes is the low resource it uses while protecting devices better than other software. I have experienced many similar software and they eat a lot of resources - which is not true for Malwarebytes. Also, they regularly update the definition files and monitor them continuously. I tested it with some scripts and it was very fast to detect problems. Cons Honestly, nothing comes to mind. I did not use to like such software because of how resource intensive they are but Malwarebyte has been perfect fusion of resource and protection. Pros \- It is easy to use within an user-friendly GUI. - Light agent. - It is good detecting malware and ransomware specially. - It is more focused on behaviours than in signatures. - Good price. Cons \- More basic than other tools. - It misses some important things that traditional EDRs manage properly, so you'll probably need to use it as an additional tool. - Sometimes we got false positives (more than in other tools). It offers real-time protection as well as ransomware protection yet all businesses fear the ransomware.It also gives an unlimited vpn which is not in windows defender and offers web protection hence you know we are not safe in the digital world unless we use softwares like these.
