Wanted something that could help me get rid of, or at least give me the sense that something was getting rid of, the malware on my system and this worked as advertised. Cons as with all malware removers, you don't really know what is happening or that it is at all so you just have to trust it. my biggest peeve with this software is how it would always hang when notifying me of paying to upgrade. i would always have to run task manager to stop it and get rid of it. This helps stop that and if you do get some, it removes it. I have all PCs in the office setup for daily scans that are set for overnight so everyone's PC is ready to rock the next business day. Pros Is everything a good enough answer for this? It actually works - trackers, pups, malware this takes care of it. Easy to use, even my end users can do it! With the paid version it auto updates and can setup daily scans. Cons I have yet to find one. It's one of the first things installed on a new PC. Pros I like everything i mean its a lovable piece of work, it will protect your computer without affecting the overall performance, the anti-malware engine is much sophisticated then any others i've used and the best part you don't have to pay if you are not looking for 24-hours active protection from every type of threats. Cons i would say none all the features are lovable and extremely crafted with ease and quality in mind, but if i have to say something i kinda feel down whenever i do fresh install on a friend's pc who don't have connectivity then its just nothing more then that trash ideling and doing nothing cause it need to download the database(not comes with the package). There is none better. Pros Malwarebytes antimalware is by far hands down the most useful, up-to-date, free software for basic or a minimal price for amazing software to rid your computer of any and all viruses malware of any source. I ran my own computer business for many years and finally retired and in the business down to a friend and Malwarebytes is hands down best tool in my arsenal. Cons If Malwarebytes had an online version the people could use even if their computer was so choked up with viruses and malware that installation of software was impossible, it would be a wonderful tool but as far as I know there isn't one. Pros The software just works, and the ability to set it scan weekly and come back and the scans are very quick which makes the clients happy. Cons Sometimes this software can bring false positives which can be a hassle. It is easy to deploy and get installed on a client's machine. It is easy to scan a client's machine and it is easy to use the web portal for control of the application. Cons As good as the software is, it is a bit on the expensive side, even compared to it's peers. Seems to be low on cpu and memory usage. Compliments Windows Defender nicely. Cons I didn't like some of the pop-ups for purchasing the full version when using the free version. Its ability to detect, prevent and provide remedy for infected systems is unmatched. I also like how easy it is to set it up and use chiefly because of the clean and intuitive UI. One other thing I like is that it has a very low false positive rate than most other products. Once you have installed this, you don't have to worry about losing your data or formatting your PC just to get rid of the sickest viruses or malware. Malwarebytes will do the job fairly easily and quickly. It will also clean up your system getting rid of any residue files. Pros Malwarebytes is one of the strongest cybersecurity options out there. You don't need to worry about malware or cleaning up your PC once you've installed this software. It has the ability to detect threats which another antivirus software don't even recognize exist. It has an extremely rich set of functionality which allows you to quarantine, save reports, permanently delete threats once they are inventoried. For me, being able to quarantine and the ability to selectively choose what to do with each threat is the most important one. Cons Most of its functionality is paid. Although it will detect all the threats, to perform further operations, you need to have Malwarebytes Premium to be able to actually do anything about it, which does sound reasonable, but that's probably the only caveat there is. Pros The first thing that comes to mind when talking about clearing Malware is Malwarebytes. The simple reason is that it has been used by us since years and we don't even know there are other similar software, it is just that good. - The free version has all the features except Real Time Protection and clears all malware with just as much efficiency. - One scan periodically will keep the workstation/computer safe from all possible threats. - It prevented a total loss of data when the system got infected and files were getting corrupted. - Unlike other free solutions, it actually does clear and there are no false advertisements that scare you into buying the professional tool. - Can be used along with another antivirus, so its perfect as a supporting tool. Cons The customer support was really bad, im using a really old lifetime license which was suddenly locked due to being used on too many pcs (5 i think) but when i bought it there was no mention of a pc restriction anywhere! While explainig this they were really unfriendly. I feel that the monthly price is a bit much to ask compared to other av softwares out there. Pros A few years back I was using Webroot to protect a PC and some malicious software got past it and infected the PC. I used Malwarebytes to work thru, remove, and restore the PC. I am a big fan of this software. It did take a lot of work to get things corrected but I was able to get the PC back up and running when I thought it was not possible.
