It was so easy to use and effective that I started not only using it for all my clients, but also for my own business and personal use as well. Pros \- Easy to use; great user interface - Free for basic malware scanning - Offers paid service for live scanning of files to prevent malware installations Cons \- If you are using the free version there is annoying pop-up that displays trying to sell you the paid version when you start up/login to your computer each time. Pros This AV has advanced heuristics and protects awesomely, most ITs use Malwarebytes Free version to clean Infested PCs with Malware when the main AV fails, so the resident protection will keep you safe. Cons This is the first antivirus for which i don't have any disadvantages.But if you pay for the premium version it gives many additional features like safe web-browsing, preventing ransomware attacks, scheduled scans etc. Review Source Bryan D. Pros Honestly, all great things to say. The software basically operates in the background and keeps bad things away automatically, but definitely notifies you of any anomalies when they do arise! Cons I can't really say I disliked anything in particular, having only used the free version I knew I wasn't getting the whole package. I suppose that things like Deep Cleaning and other useful tasks are hidden behind the paywall, but that's just business! Pros It's easy to setup, works as advertised and a great value for the price. The free version is good if you remember to run scans manually, for a small cost you can upgrade to have the peace of mind of automatic scans. It found threats that my antivirus didn't. Cons It works best in combination with antivirus software but my Windows Defender considers this antivirus software so I get a warning about having 2 antivirus programs running. I really can't pick one over the other because they each cover the vulnerabilities that the other one doesn't. It finds a lot of threats and deletes them as well. It is easy to use and updated often Cons This software finds a lot of 'threats' that either aren't there or are not a threat. Pros We are using it for more then 7 years, and it helped us a lot of time, when regular anti virus softwares didnt do anything, it has huge database of malwares. Cons Now, nothing, before interface was not so good, we are using it for more then 7 years, so a lot changed. Cons Somewhat limited features compared to other virus solutions, but excellent at its core function of removing existing threats. The dashboard GUI is simple and at the same time gives many custom options. The company stays on top of the latest malware dangers and updates accordingly. Best of all, the application doesn't eat up a lot of memory when it is being used. Great product! Pros Custom malware scans. This feature allows me to scan any drive that I want to scan and allows me to set a schedule for custom scans. I use set schedules to scan my network drives after hours to make sure that they are clean and free of malware. Cons Minimal account support within the GUI. I would like to be able to manage my account within the Malwarebytes dashboard instead of being carted off to a separate website inside of a browser. It would make my job a heck of a lot easier. Pros Easy to install and runs in the background without slowing computer system down. Now all computer users are able to easily install updates and keep track of what's going on their computer. Cons We have not experienced any issues with this program. We have used it for over 2 years and aren't looking anywhere else. Pros It doesn't appear to slow down the computer, it works without ever getting in the way, it doesn't require multiple and annoying prompts, and it does what it needs to do. It's easy to set up notifications, and quickly find problems, but it stays in the background and you won't notice it running unless you're scanning. But Malwarebytes works very smoothly and I have never encountered a problem with it. It's very sensitive with real threats and has fixed my computers a few times when I got infected. Cons A missing feature is to ask the user to scan his computer occasionally (once a week is okay), so that it can reduce the chance of virus getting larger and more threatening to the data in case of the virus get passed the outer protection wall. Pros ease of use, back ground searches, updates are not interfering with my operations; I have this on all computers because of their licensing policies that are very fair; I get the reports I want when I need them, and without extraneous info. The interface is not just "intuitive" ( which means you have to be an Apple user or some sort of mind reader) it is actually plain and straight forward, that makes the learning curve very nice.
