Pros I like that it can help out with your computer health, such as giving your computer a full virus scan, checking for unwanted spyware and programs. Cons The cost could be a little lower for full benefits. The trial version only scans and doesn't clean. But other than that, nice program! Reason for choosing Malwarebytes for Business It was more affordable and the trial gave me a good impression. Pros ease of use, back ground searches, updates are not interfering with my operations; I have this on all computers because of their licensing policies that are very fair; I get the reports I want when I need them, and without extraneous info. The interface is not just "intuitive" ( which means you have to be an Apple user or some sort of mind reader) it is actually plain and straight forward, that makes the learning curve very nice. Cons I have had a bit of a problem switching licenses to add a computer that has a stand alone license. Sometimes it turns off, requiring a manual reboot and restart. Review Source DB Darell B. Cons Honestly there have been no cons to using this software. Not necessarily Malwarebytes' fault, the different Windows versions and different types of firewall/AV services, it can be difficult to make it easier to upgrade versions or get new database updates with little user interaction. Just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, but in this case, the free version fully meets my needs. Pros The software has a free version that will cover basic security needs for most individual users. For a larger organization or individuals with higher than normal security needs, the free version may not cut it, but they do have a paid version as well that's more feature rich. Cons The free version does \*not\* include the feature for automated scheduled scans, which is an almost essential feature for security software. Pros I like how simple it is to figure out and how effective it does exactly what you want it to without making it overly complicated. The menu software is precise and understandable. It runs fairly quickly and has complimenting options and settings. It even has a trial version, so you can try it before you purchase. Occasionally, I'll click a questionable link, and Malwarebytes will prohibit the site from loading and will tell me why. The last time I had issues with malware was before I installed Malwarebytes. In the 2 years I have had it, malware has not been an issue. Pros Installation was a breeze. Download, install, and never look at it again. Just Set it, and Forget it! Cons There are no cons with Malwarebytes that I've encountered. It runs in the background - I don't even know it's there. I love its ease of use and user-friendly interface. I have reinstalled this software on multiple conputers and I rarely modified its settings because it comes with the best default settings to protect your computers. It has a efficient scanning system that detect malware on your computer and does not eat too much of your computer resources.
