Pros Malwarbytes is a trusted name in antimalware software. Its easy to setup and use. It does a very good job at catching malware if you have to paid premium version. The price is very competitive especially if bought in bulk. Cons Needs to install updates to frequently. Many users skip the updates and miss important fixes and other issues. Review Source JM Jay M. I have been using this software for at least a decade and I do recommend it as a key to virus protection. Options can be set for scheduling scans as well as checking for the most recent updates. Pros A thorough and well-known anti-virus program that offers real-time protection and the ability to schedule scans. The free version (which is what I've been using other than the free 1 month trial of the full version) is adequate for basic protection against computer viruses, malware and trojans. Cons Had the subscription fee been a little cheaper, I may have considered opting to buy in for the full subscription service but I couldn't justify the price being asked and am content with using the free version of this software. It will auto protect you from the popups(pups) and bad malware/adware. Not much maintenance is required other than allowing/disallowing the system changes when something happens. It is really good to protect the system, takes less memory than most anti-virus software. The price is also reasonable compared to others. Cons Only con would be that it isn't an anti-virus engine but nowdays viruses aren't distributed often or even made. Today we have more adware/spyware/rootkits/malware than actual viruses that dominated in the past, making the most relevant tool you can have on your PC. Malwarebytes is my go to for dealing with infected systems. Pros Ease of Use - Frequent Updates - Hi Success Rate Cons In earlier versions we had issues on random systems where scans would fail. You need not be tech savvy to get used to it. Its simplicity and design will make life a lot more easier for everyone. Pros I use it for my personal system. It is lightweight and very easy to install. It has a wide range of features and a very informative dashboard. Like most antivirus software, the Endpoint Protection is the most technologically advanced version of Malwarebytes and I can browse the internet without any worries. Cons Lack of a feature to inspect emails and there is no option for a quick scan. Furthermore, it has helped detect and remove malicious trojans and infections from my computers and mobile phone. I would highly recommend it for phones as well, as they are so frequently subjected to potential attacks on insecure networks. The interface is easy and not too cumbersome. So much happens under the hood and you just don't need to see it! Some other programs go a little too far in providing too many details, which results in a worse product as most people would rather not mess with too many settings. Cons Nothing! Pros This program detects unwanted tools, which are not viruses, but steal data and slow down your computer, after eliminating unnecessary guests your computer runs faster and better Cons It would be nice if the installed program ran in the background and eliminated the known threats so that you do not have to spend time on it to protect effectively, not to eat up CPU and memory resources, does Malware meet these requirements, I think it will be the best.
