I have had it installed on every computer I've ever owned and I've installed it on more computers than I can count back when I was fixing them for a living. I've had and seen some nasty infections that should've completely bricked the pc, and Malwarebytes has brought them back from the brink of death! Highly recommended! Definitely worth buying! Make sure you run it when you don't plan on using the pc though...it will slow you way down. I always do my full scans overnight! Just FYI! Pros Removed malware from my pc that no other program could touch! Works great with all other antivirus programs I've run with it. Pros Constantly finds Trojans and very protective around torrent software. Updates all the time to constantly search for potential threats. Pros I use this product at home and at work. At home I use the free version we pay for the work computer but the price is relatively low for the level of protection we get. Malwarebytes works well with our other anti virus program and there are no glitches. Very easy to install and use. You don't know the countless times I 've been able to wipe bloatware and adware from computers that are used by grandmas, nephews and that aunt who always clicks everything. running a full scan and wiping every trashy software feels great. Cons I have not run into any issues with this software yet, when windows 10 first came out we had issues getting it installed, i never had to use support either. Overall i have not complaints. Pros I like that Malwarebytes has both a pro and free version. The free version is what I use at home and I use the paid version at work and it seems to do the job with both. Cons I don't like that the program can cause some lagging while the scan is being performed- both with the free and paid versions. I also don't care for the constant "buy me" ads in the free version. Pros I find Malwarebytes to be the easiest and most efficient way to keep malware off both my mac and pc systems. Cons I didn't find anything that I didn't like about this software. It does slow down the system slightly, but that is expected and not a major drawback. Switched from [Norton AntiVirus](https://www.capterra.com/p/648/Norton-Security/) Malware is less bloated than Norton and works better in my experience. It runs in the background and doesn’t require updates very often. Cons Doesn’t protect your pc against all other viruses. Slows browsers down and causes other programs to not respond. June 5, 2018 5.0 Pros This software is very easy to use and works very effectively. I have performed scans after running scans with Norton, Windows Defender, Spybot, etc. and this still picks up the remaining malware after the other scans are done. The paid version offers more features but the free version is already very excellent. Cons When you are finished with a scans and "remove" the detected malware, it simply places it into Quarantine rather than deleting it. You then have to enter the Quarantine and delete the malware manually. Some people may forget this step and it should be made a little easier to just immediately delete the detected malware from the start. Review Source FB Frank B. Highly recommend for both homes users and companies. This product should be part of anyone's security toolbox. Pros Great product, you can download a free version for home use, or purchase for your company use. The product will scan your hard drive or external drives check and cleaning up any and all malware that it finds. The scans run quickly and can be scheduled to run when necessary. Runs on Windows, MAC, iOS, and Android... Cons None that I can think of when you download the FREE version, it will give you a 14 day trial of the product with all its bells and whistles. Do the standard cleanups offered through Windows Internet Options, Disk Cleanup, and Defrag, and you'll be just as well off without having to install extra software. Pros Malwarebytes is a very convincing computer cleanup program. It seems to be doing a lot to clean your computer and is very simple to use once installed. Cons I'm just not sold on what this program is really doing. I didn't notice any significant change with my computer's performance, and it actually seemed to slow down a bit due to all the constant popup notification thats Malwarebytes sends. January 4, 2020 5.0 Pros Malwarebytes scans your system for malicious and harmful spyware and other files. It's neatly designed, simply operated and finds stuff that other similar security software do not. Malwarebytes is the only security app I trust. Every time I fix a friend's slow computer, the first thing I do is install Malwarebytes on his/her machine to clean all the junk and make the machine speedy again. Cons I wish there were more free features, because to get the most benfit you need to but the full app. However, they do five you a month free trial, which IMO is very generous. Also malware bytes tells the user about any vulnerabilities in the system.
