SeeSOR has enriched the Quality Program at my project. Due to SeeSOR capabilities, we have captured more customer surveys, remained compliant with government deliverables and discovered areas that needed improvement.

Pros

The tracking aspect of SeeSOR has been the key to maintaining compliance with Government Contracting. The deliverable requirement changes each month throughout the year. SeeSOR has been the key for our project to meet the deliverable contract requirement.

Cons

When there are limited SeeSOR users on a project, processing corrective actions can become cumbersome. Personnel (non-users) addressing the corrective action do not enter actions directly into SeeSOR, therefore the burden of documentation lands on one of the few SeeSOR users on site. Perhaps developing a scaled down corrective action process within SeeSOR for smaller projects would reduce the administrative tasks regarding corrective actions.

Onboarding was complete within a week. I was navigating the platform and setting up my first engagement faster than I've ever gotten up and running with a compliance tool. What made that possible is that the CMMC requirements were already pre-mapped in the platform. I didn't have to build the framework from scratch or configure control sets before I could start working. I loaded my client's environment and was in active testing mode almost immediately. From there the workflow just made sense. Evidence goes into the attachment management vault and ties directly to the control being tested. When I identify a gap, I go to the Corrective Actions tab, select the requirement, and the work paper pre-populates from the testing data I already entered. I assign it to the risk owner and my client has immediate visibility into what needs to be fixed and who owns it. What used to take me multiple tools, multiple folders, and a manual findings-to-remediation rebuild now lives in one place. SeeSOR didn't just speed up my process, it professionalized it.

Pros

The attachment management vault. During the CMMC gap assessment, I was able to upload client-provided artifacts, policies, screenshots, system configurations, network diagrams, directly into the platform and tie each artifact to the specific CMMC practice being tested. No more emailing files back and forth. No more "which version of this policy are we actually testing against?" The vault keeps everything organized by control and accessible to the right stakeholders. As an auditor, being able to review artifacts in context right alongside the control language and my assessment notes made my testing work significantly faster and more defensible. The Corrective Actions tab is where the platform really shines for post-assessment remediation. Once testing is complete, I navigate to the Corrective Actions tab, select the specific CMMC requirement that needs remediation, and SeeSOR pre-populates the corrective action work paper using the data I already entered during testing. I'm not re-keying findings or rebuilding context from scratch, the platform pulls it forward automatically. From there, I assign the corrective action to the appropriate risk owner on the client's team, and they have everything they need to understand the gap and drive remediation. That hand-off is clean, professional, and traceable. For a gap assessment engagement, that combination; evidence vault for testing, pre-populated corrective action work papers, and risk owner assignment covers the full assessment lifecycle in one place.

Cons

My only note is that first-time clients benefit from a brief orientation on how to interact with their assigned corrective actions in the platform. Once they see it, it clicks right away but setting that expectation during kickoff saves a support conversation later. That's really a change management reminder on my end, not a platform limitation.

After using SeeSOR to help the a large government agency manage multimillion dollar contracts for over 10 years across the globe in a complex aviation industry, I found SeeSOR to be a cost-effective and valuable tool that saved countless man-hours by simplifying an otherwise laborious process of documenting contract compliance and with the aim of encouraging continuous improvement. In the right hands, this SeeSOR tool is immensely valuable in providing organizations the the ability to drive effectiveness and efficiencies from its contracts and contractors assuming the requirements are well-defined and the contracts are continually fine-tuned.

Pros

SeeSOR was incredibly intuitive and simple to both input & retrieve data regarding contractor compliance with the Performance Work Statement. There were multiple ways to search for and view data which proved to be a timesaver and also helped provide critical, time-stamped & well-documented backup for performance improvement and predictive analysis.

Cons

The only shortcoming we found was not with the tool but when people allowed themselves to be driven by the tool as opposed to using the tool simply ti document performance and to help drive behavior.

Pros

We use this tool by breaking down our Performance Work Statement into discreet requirements allowing us and our customer to easily evaluate compliance on a recurring basis. This tool provides an intuitive way to quickly and easily document compliance with requirements as well as document and noncompliance by using the Corrective Action Tool. Another nice feature is the integrated scheduling tool which provides useful reminders for key actions.

Cons

This tool has a nice dashboard feature providing an overview of key measurements but in order to best show the data in a way that our customer desires, we still need to export the data to Excel in order to better show the results in a way that specifically addresses management and quality assurance practices of our customer and their mission. Utilizing the tool to its full capacity would require adjusting our processes to fit the tool which is not ideal but this is true with most widely used eTools. ASC is always eager to seek feedback they might be able to apply that would help organizations more easily and effective measure quality control and compliance.
