I have to say my experience with MediOffice has been excellent. The team have been extremely supportive and understanding and helped me with any queries I have had and very quickly.
Customer support is amazing. We like the diary, the link with TrustHealth, ease of use, look of the user interface, that we ask for functions and MediOffice say they will consider integrating them.
Moving over to medioffice as a company has been very easy, the IT/admin support has been fantastic and any questions we have had have been answered promptly and effectively.
The switch over was easy with 15 years of private patient data moved over seamlessly. The platform is intuitive and user friendly, requires less "clicking" to achieve the desired functions.
Cons
Some bugs to sort at the beginning with logging out, use of mobile app not working optimally etc, setup of invoicing cumbersome I guess due to healthcode rather than app.
I have looked at management systems over the years and either found them very difficult to use or very expensive, but MediOffice is ticking the boxes at the moment.
So far I have not come across anything that poses a problem with how I use the system.
It is a minor inconvenience that you cannot always create shortfall letters whilst allocating a bulk payment when insurers have paid £0 towards an invoice.
"Patient Billing is super quick and easy!!"
Pros: Patient billing is quick, easy and I find the software to be very intuitive. The patient payment portal feature has allowed patients to make payments online as soon as their invoice received therefore reducing our self pay outstanding invoices.
Cons: There are no features that I like least about this software.
"Medioffice - An honest review from a very happy secretary"
Overall: The overall experience from moving over from DGL to now being 6 months into using Medioffice daily, is that my ability to perform my role has been enhanced dramatically. And the support given when you need help is crazy good. The support team are so responsive and happy to assist with anything you require. I have yet to be stuck waiting to do something, they are so rapid at getting back to you and I've never even had to wait to speak to someone when I call, which anyone using other medical admin systems will know the pain of only too well. Its been a trouble free and very positive experience from start to finish and I could not recommend them highly enough.
Pros: The system is so easy to use, everything you need to access is only ever one click away. Navigation is super simple, everything you need to do is made uncomplicated and straightforward, and the invoicing is SO easy it makes the process hugely quicker than previously. And the letters are so straightforward to compose and send. Tasks are fantastic, all visible on one screen. The layout is so user friendly. Its almost like a medical secretary designed it!! And the ongoing support and help from them is incredible, no more lengthy waits on hold for someone from IT to answer the phone....problems are solved in minutes, not days! Oh and the phone app is great as well!
Cons: Genuinely can't think of one! And if I did think of one they have a process where you mention it to them and then suddenly its addressed in the next update and what you thought might be handy becomes available! A real life 'your wish is our command' scenario!!

Overall: A very reliable system that continually updates and takes on board feedback to continuingly enhance the user experience.
Pros: There are three main aspects our group Total Orthopaedics moved to Medioffice: Firstly, the price point is very competitive. We have half our monthly outlay. Secondly, the database is very customisable to our specific needs Thirdly, the support is excellent with a very quick resolution of any issues
Cons: There is not too much to dislike, but one of the issues we have had is ability to task third parties by email without giving them access to the database

"My first 3 months of MediOffice"
Overall: This is not the first time I have switched software (DGL, Pabau, Semble) and the process can be painful and not helped by the company you are leaving. MediOffice worked hard to get all the data out and in the right place. It has taken a lot of time to set up all my old templates and get it working as I want and it is still work in progress. It is reliable and financially sound for dealing with medical billing and insurance companies. I have found the support to be always available when I need them and their product development team are very receptive to meetings to discuss the product - I think I have had 3-4 video calls in 3 months to discuss developments. I am confident that over the next 12 months everything will work perfectly.
Pros: The support is great - easy access via email, phone, video and very receptive to feedback and sensibly practical software development ideas The billing is first rate. We now have control of our finances day to day. Letter templates and emails all easy to set up and customise/
Cons: This is a software that is developing fast with feedback from clinicians. There are lots of little tweaks and niggles with getting used to any new software and a lot of that is down to setting up and not getting it quite right. A more dedicated onboarding and training support or videos on set up or option to pay for bespoke clinic set up would be good.
