He made moving from an older system to Medioffice a very easy experience to set the system up for us. \[sensitive content hidden\] has been on hand with his excellent knowledge of the day to day running of the system to help us with setting up templates, diaries etc and learning to use to the system which is really invaluable. The Medioffice team have been brilliant and it is worth asking them for a trial if you are looking to update your practice management system.

Pros

I like the fresh new look compared to a different older system I was using. I think all the new features will save valuable time. I like that patients can also use the system themselves to book appointments and see their letters and results that you have given permission for. Accounts is made easy as patients can pay and their money is allocated straight onto the system.

Cons

Nothing! We are very pleased with how MediOffice is going so far.

### "My first 3 months of MediOffice"

This is not the first time I have switched software (DGL, Pabau, Semble) and the process can be painful and not helped by the company you are leaving. MediOffice worked hard to get all the data out and in the right place. It has taken a lot of time to set up all my old templates and get it working as I want and it is still work in progress. It is reliable and financially sound for dealing with medical billing and insurance companies. I have found the support to be always available when I need them and their product development team are very receptive to meetings to discuss the product - I think I have had 3-4 video calls in 3 months to discuss developments. I am confident that over the next 12 months everything will work perfectly.

Pros

The support is great - easy access via email, phone, video and very receptive to feedback and sensibly practical software development ideas The billing is first rate. We now have control of our finances day to day. Letter templates and emails all easy to set up and customise/

Cons

This is a software that is developing fast with feedback from clinicians. There are lots of little tweaks and niggles with getting used to any new software and a lot of that is down to setting up and not getting it quite right. A more dedicated onboarding and training support or videos on set up or option to pay for bespoke clinic set up would be good.

Very easy to work with. Responsive and helpful. Migration (from DGL) was excellent. Issues were corrected very quickly and communication was top notch.

Pros

MediOffice is very well designed. It is quick and easy to access all the aspects of the patient record that you require from one place. The task management system means things do not get forgotten and it is very helpful for communication between team members while maintaining an audit trail. All patient and third party communcation features that you would need and expect are present, as is integrated payments via stripe and healthcode invoicing. Excellent customer support. Responsive designers who regularly add new features.

Cons

Voice regcognition transcription costs only £5 per month so very cheap and will save you a fortune, but is not a didicated medical algorithm and none of the various dictation processes are ideal, though you will likely fine one that will work for you.

Overall we have had an excellent experience with MediOffice from initial contact, learning about the product, making the transfer and getting all set up. The support team were really excellent in making the transfer as smooth as possible. All staff are quick to respond to all queries. They are willing to take on board suggestions for making the software work better for our business and pro-active in making changes and improvements.

Pros

The MediOffice system is clear to view and easy to use by both administrators and consultants. It has streamlined our business and integration with our existing business processes was problem free.

Cons

The dictation interface could be improved to make dictating and transcription easier. Ideally we would like to be able to connect a pedal to the system to make manipulation of the dictations easier from a transcribers viewpoint.

Amazing, makes my job so much easier than when using other systems. I wish this was the standard across the industry!

Pros

The best thing about MediOffice, which feeds into everything, is how easy to navigate and use it is. Buttons and links are in intuitive places, the UI is clean and simple, but still pleasant. Feels very modern, runs quickly and no complaints when using it.

Cons

If I had to nit-pick, the only thing to mention is that there's no way to tell if a consultant is linked to HealthCode or not. When swapping between consultants frequently, this can cause some confusion as some use it and some don't. But no other Practice Manager tells me either, and with and with updates each month or more I'm sure MediOffice will soon have this feature. Butt otherwise this is the best by far and I would choose no other above it.

My overall experience is good. The system is incredibly fast and easy to learn. You can usually do what you need to do in a few clicks. one of the best parts about MediOffice is the customer service, they are always on hand to help fix something or find a solution.

Pros

I love the reminder function. It's easily one of the best functions available. The task system is incredibly easy to follow which helps me to avoid missing anything. The correspondence is set neatly into different categories.

Cons

The theatre and clinic diaries are together which can make the screen look a little hectic. There's no separate recall system and for a speciality where patients come back annually it ruins the task function as there are too many task on there to look at.

We have a closed system for managing extremely sensitive information. Customer care is unrivalled.

Pros

Customer support is amazing. We like the diary, the link with TrustHealth, ease of use, look of the user interface, that we ask for functions and MediOffice say they will consider integrating them

Cons

Would be very helpful to have a medical insurance system integrated so that we know how many sessions a patient has and an automatic update of these after each session. We will then know when a patient needs to get more sessions agreed by the insurance company. We would like the patient portal to have an interactive module so patients can fill in and sign their forms in the system. We are looking forward to Xero integration.

I liked that the developers were open to making the system more personalised and that we could discuss things with them.

Pros

It is the first time I have felt like I have a complete oversight of my practice both clinically and financially. Very powerful. I also feel like this is being done in a safe and secure way.

Cons

SOme of the functionality is not that intiuitive and has required calls to the help desk. However the helpdeks team are really excellent and this makes a big difference and further enhances the product!

It is an intuitive system which is easy to use and navigate. It is easy to filter out the information you need and provides all the information you need at a glance. Reports are straightforward to download.

Pros

It is easy to use MediOffice for invoicing as you can clearly see which invoices have been sent and which remain pending. The new "status" feature helps you see at a glance what has and hasn't been paid as well.

Cons

It is a minor inconvenience that you cannot always create shortfall letters whilst allocating a bulk payment when insurers have paid £0 towards an invoice

I am very happy using this system, it allows me to produce work much quicker than other systems I use.

Pros

I currently use, DGL, PPM, Midex Pro, Carebit and MediOffice and I find MediOffice the most efficient and self explanatory system to use. Its very easy on the eye and extremely straightforward to navigate between the different tabs etc. Creating reports again is much more uncomplicated as other systems and easy to produce. I would highly recommend this system.

Cons

As I have not been using the system for very long I have not found anything to date that I could say is a negative.

I have found the system to be very effective, clear to use and intuitive to navigate. I also find that the team are very co-operative and pro-active in adding new features and enhancements to improve the user experience.

Pros

In my role I am less involved in the day to day use of the system, but I am involved with its outputs and some of the functionality. The reports are very clear and intuitive, navigating through the system is fast and clear, the cloud access is excellent and some of the other features (such as the video conferencing) set it apart.

Cons

I was concerned that MediOffice was new to market and potentially still untested but the team have encountered very few issues and I have been satisfied that this is not the case.

Pros

Customer support. appreciate that MO helps with sending out appt reminders, and unsettled invoices reminders automatically once set up. That is saving me time. I like the way I can invoice from multiple areas, especially when remitting as we send out invoices in advance.

Cons

It is a bit 'black and white' in the way it functions but have adjusted to that. The diary is a bit clunky in that a month view with individual clinics showing is not available and you have to click on a day to see what is happening - you cant see where a clinic is without clicking further.

With a common modern 27" wide screen users can see up to 12 lists which for most consultants would cover an entire month. Medioffice are extremely prompt in responding to any queries you have about the system. Setup runs extremely smoothly and the team are very helpful

Pros

Very easy to use. The system allows you to run the private medical practice for a specialist very efficiently.

Cons

Patients sometimes find it hard to use the portal but 80 - 90 % find it easy. When sending information to GP's just needs to be more aware of patient confidentiality and making it easy for the GP's to open documentation that we send.

Wish I had moved to Medioffice years ago. Unfortunately the advertising doesn’t explain how good it really is.

Pros

Very intuitive. Has streamlined my practice. No physical notes to carry. Has everything at my fingertips including scan reports I don’t use all the features but I might if I was starting again.

Cons

The browser back button logs me out. Which is a bit of a pain as you then have to login all over again

The overall experience from moving over from DGL to now being 6 months into using Medioffice daily, is that my ability to perform my role has been enhanced dramatically. And the support given when you need help is crazy good. The support team are so responsive and happy to assist with anything you require. I have yet to be stuck waiting to do something, they are so rapid at getting back to you and I've never even had to wait to speak to someone when I call, which anyone using other medical admin systems will know the pain of only too well. Its been a trouble free and very positive experience from start to finish and I could not recommend them highly enough.

Pros

The system is so easy to use, everything you need to access is only ever one click away. Navigation is super simple, everything you need to do is made uncomplicated and straightforward, and the invoicing is SO easy it makes the process hugely quicker than previously. And the letters are so straightforward to compose and send. Tasks are fantastic, all visible on one screen. The layout is so user friendly. Its almost like a medical secretary designed it!! And the ongoing support and help from them is incredible, no more lengthy waits on hold for someone from IT to answer the phone....problems are solved in minutes, not days! Oh and the phone app is great as well!

Cons

Genuinely can't think of one! And if I did think of one they have a process where you mention it to them and then suddenly its addressed in the next update and what you thought might be handy becomes available! A real life 'your wish is our command' scenario!!

In addition, in our latest update, which has now gone live, there is a new quick save option at the top right of the screen. A very reliable system that continually updates and takes on board feedback to continuingly enhance the user experience.

Pros

There are three main aspects our group Total Orthopaedics moved to Medioffice: Firstly, the price point is very competitive. We have half our monthly outlay. Secondly, the database is very customisable to our specific needs Thirdly, the support is excellent with a very quick resolution of any issues

Cons

There is not too much to dislike, but one of the issues we have had is ability to task third parties by email without giving them access to the database
