The hardest part about this software is that there is not posting dates, so it can be hard to integrate smoothly with Financial Edge.
School assigned Student IDs do not transfer year over year which is annoying. Also the tuition allocation is not divided based on charges and has to be changed by your team every year.

Cons: Program sometimes has quirks with family ID. Can run into difficulties when splitting payments.

Cons: It would be better if a Parent user account would give access to more than 1 school. As it is, Parent users need to have 1 Blackbaud user account per school. For instance, 3 kids, 3 different schools = 3 separate Blackbaud Parent user accounts. This is a terrible user experience! Also, the term "BBID" on the login page and elsewhere is technical jargon that should be eliminated.

Pros: A point of resolution for many consumers. Invoices could be sent using emails with a link to a PDF that could be viewed, verified, and then subsequently paid. Their corresponding accounts would then be updated accordingly.
Cons: Overall competence of the internal staff is quite low. Additional problems are created when attempting to resolve simple issues related to invoicing, wire payments, etc. The website is also inaccurate, along with the corresponding links being provided. English is also a problem when speaking with customer representatives. Blackbaud has many areas of improvement and if given the choice, I would not engage them in the future.

Pros: [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and the customer support team are OUTSTANDING. Really. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has saved my life/job/mental state SO MANY times with her calm, cool and complete ability to fix my world. She responds to the dumbest inquiries with patience and professionalism. She is careful to always explain things and never signs off until I really "get it." I appreciate her so sincerely. The ONLINE Chat feature is CRITICAL. I use it so much and your customer service team is really REALLY Grade A.
Cons: The training for the education side and integrating contracts was problematic.

Overall: I have had a great experience with Tuition Management for the last six years. My account representative,[SENSITIVE CONTENT] is always eager to help and is always so attentive to my needs and demands. She always responds in a timely fashion and cannot be more helpful. She is the main reason why I would recommend this product to anyone.
Pros: I feel that the software is user friendly for both the school and parents. The point and click features are useful and the broad range of payment options makes it easier on parents. I like that I have the option to create and customize reports, perform SSI reports and manage my account myself.
Cons: I do not like that the email parents feature cannot be customized. I feel this can look too generic, especially if the communication is of high importance. I understand that accounts are family based, but I would like to have the option to view more in student based accounts. Specifically, reporting and accounting would be easier for year end in student billing.
