4.0

I have used Medbridge for 10+ years for professional development, home exercise programs and specialty certification studies, very useful and cost effective.

Pros

Excellent range of courses with reputable instructors for a variety of areas. Very useful home exercise program platform.

Cons

Some difficulty navigating the course offerings and narrowing down options by interest, ultimately able to find courses but somewhat burdensome approach.

### "High quality continuing education"

April 21, 2026

5.0

Pros

The wide variety of continuing education topics is great. The courses are all very helpful and have good speakers. The platform is very user friendly and easy to use.

Cons

The continuing education could be easier to search and organize bookmarked courses. I think the app should be more user friendly. I find myself only logging on with a desktop because the app is too hard to find things.

### "Excellent tool to support professional license and certification maintenance."

April 21, 2026

5.0

Excellent, I plan to continue with Medbridge for a long time! It supports both professional development and patient care. The CEU format is the best I have ever used.

Pros

The professionalism of the continuing education and HEP builder is outstanding. I love the ability to access both on my desktop/tablet and continue on my mobile phone. The convenience is excellent.

Cons

The only complaint I could think of is that sometimes the search function for the HEP builder seems a little challenging to find the exercises I want.

### "Well-rounded resources for professional and clinical development"

April 20, 2026

4.0

I have enjoyed using it overall. I would like for some of the material to be dated for the release date so that I can ensure if the information is dated or not because in orthopedics there seems to be advances in some areas more quickly.

Pros

I have enjoyed using it for my own personal professional growth as well as department planning programs for gap closures.

Cons

It does not go specific enough with our specialty area of pediatric orthopedics. I also don't like that you don't know the release dates of the education programs.

### "Excellent resource for staff"

April 21, 2026

4.0

Overall, as an organization, I highly recommend providing MedBridge as a resource to employees. Customer services is decently responsive.

Pros

Access to clinical education AND home exercise program builder. Ability to assign education to staff as part of professional development planning.

Cons

Not all the exercises I want are there. The search function could be improved for both the education and exercise portions. There is no Canadian server option.

### "Occupational Therapy Perspective: Medbridge Review"

April 20, 2026

5.0

My overall experience has been great! I have used it for many years and I've always found it to be a great way to learn new skills and review previously learned skills.

Pros

Medbridge is user-friendly, has a wide variety of applicable continuing education and offers up to date options. I like that I can see if CE would apply to me before I take the course and I also appreciate the emails I receive with suggestions specific to my practice throughout the year. The home exercise programs are also very easy to use and the images are very helpful for patients to follow at home.

Cons

I would like more CE's specific to Occupational Therapy Leadership. I have taken several leadership courses, but would like a leader from the profession to host a CE on this topic.

### "Download courses to complete offline!"

April 20, 2026

5.0

It's my primary source of CEUS now! I love both the short format courses as well as the live webinars or recorder webinars!

Pros

Appreciate the updated content available. Love that you can download courses to view when internet is not available. Was able to do a few classes while on a long-haul flight. App easily syncs back once you have internet.

Cons

I like using the HEP, but sometimes I cannot find what I need. Would like to have an easier way to upload my own pics or videos or alternatively request new HEPs.

### "My thoughts"

April 22, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with MedBridge has been really good. The platform offers a wide range of high-quality, evidence-based educational content that supports professional growth and clinical practice. The courses are relevant, informative, and applicable to real-world rehabilitation settings. MedBridge makes it easy to stay current with best practices while meeting continuing education requirements. Despite a few areas for improvement, the platform is a valuable resource that supports lifelong learning, skill development, and confidence in clinical decision-making.

Pros

What I liked most about MedBridge is the exceptional variety of rehabilitation content available in one platform. The courses span multiple disciplines, diagnoses, and levels of expertise, making it easy to find relevant material for both foundational learning and advanced clinical practice. Content is evidence-based, clearly structured, and applicable to real-world patient care. The inclusion of videos, case studies, and practical demonstrations enhances understanding and engagement. This broad range supports continuous professional growth, accommodates different learning styles, and helps clinicians stay current with best practices across the rehabilitation continuum.

Cons

What I liked least about MedBridge is the overall flow of the platform, which can sometimes feel less intuitive when navigating between courses, modules, and progress tracking. Finding specific content or returning to previously viewed material is not always seamless. Additionally, the inability to review live webinars when the scheduled times do not align with my work schedule is limiting. As a clinician with varied responsibilities, flexibility is essential. Missing access to recorded versions of select live sessions reduces learning opportunities and makes it harder to fully benefit from time-sensitive or expert-led content.

### "“An Essential Platform for Modern Physical Therapy Practice”"

April 20, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Medbridge has been outstanding. It has elevated both patient engagement and clinical efficiency in my practice. The Home Exercise Program empowers patients to take an active role in their recovery, which aligns strongly with long-term health and independence goals. It has also strengthened my ability to deliver consistent, high-quality care while saving time on administrative tasks. Medbridge is not just a tool—it’s a strategic asset for any forward-thinking physical therapy practice.

Pros

Medbridge stands out for its seamless integration of patient care and clinician education. The Home Exercise Program (HEP) is intuitive, visually engaging, and highly customizable, which makes it easy to tailor programs to individual patient needs. Patients appreciate the clear video demonstrations and simple instructions, which significantly improves compliance and outcomes. From a clinician’s perspective, the platform saves time, enhances professionalism, and supports evidence-based practice. The continuing education resources are also top-tier and directly applicable to daily clinical work.

Cons

While the platform is highly effective, more exercise varieties are needed, and exercise templates could be improved. Expanding options for deeper personalization and adding more niche or condition-specific exercises would make it even stronger.

### "Review of Medbridge Program for Outpatient PTs"

April 22, 2026

5.0

I recommend your program to my fellow PTs that work in other businesses for with the classes available and ease of use.

Pros

The continuing education classes are well done. Would like to see more advanced courses if possible. Most of the exercises listed are good.

Cons

Unsure how recommended exercises are addressed. Some areas of your program are lacking for example isometric based exercises for upper and lower extremities.

### "Medbridge review"

April 21, 2026

4.0

Overall, the experience is very good. I think there are things that could make Medbridge better as stated above.

Pros

I love the courses in Medbridge. I am an educator and I feel the courses are mostly very well done. I love that they all contain a video and sometimes they have scenarios. I think this is so helpful for understanding.

Cons

I do not like that you cannot remove or unassign a skills checklist from the staff. I also do not like that some of the skills do not come with a video. I also do not like that you cannot print a transcript of the courses an employee has completed.

Medbridge offers onboarding, which HealthStream does not. Medbridge also has courses designed for the home environment specifically and HealthStream has a lot more limited options. We also needed a good OASIS education platform.

### "Medbridge is a great asset for any out-patient clinic. "

April 21, 2026

5.0

My team and I enjoy using it and it's a nice benefit that we can offer to our full-time clinicians. I have not heard any complaints.

Pros

The CEU's are great and the HEP's are easy to find and easy to use. All of our clinicians are happy to have it!

Cons

Getting quotes and invoices to pay seems to be more difficult than it should be. I took several emails and phone calls and getting bounced around before I found the write person to get us set up.

Reason for choosing Medbridge

We were already using Medbridge when I became the director here so it was easy to stay with it. After the price increase I did shop around and was about to start talking to other similar programs but then I discovered the different tiers in pricing at Medbrdige and I was able to make some changes that kept me in budget.

### "Great product"

April 20, 2026

5.0

Get experience. The cost is great and you can do a lot of different things from rehab to CEU and get all of my stuff I need in a one stop shop.

Pros

I like the ease of use and how I can put together rehab plans and get my CEUs all in one place. great product

Cons

I think it is all good. I have a hard time finding something wrong with it. if I had to say something I do not think the rating of how hard it is, IE AT: Advanced, PT intermediate. I think that some of the "advanced" are not advanced and says that ATs are not as smart as PTs.

### "Clinician friendly"

April 20, 2026

4.0

Very positive! Excited that it will integrate with our new EMR, Epic. The courses in the continuing education section are highly varied as well and really like that it will tell you if it will count in your state.

Pros

Variety of continuing education opportunities. Large exercise database but can filter down to easily find what you are looking for.

Cons

Pictures in the compact and small versions can be hard to see and the next sizes up take a lot of paper if needing to print for clients.

### "Medical SLP CEU Platform"

May 6, 2026

5.0

Phenomenal. Great CEU platform for Medical SLPs. Wish there was a bit more on AAC and tracheostomies.

Pros

Love the mobile app! I travel a lot for as a rural SLP covering multiple facilities, so it is very important to have a mobile CEU platform with ease of navigation.

Cons

The "intro" music before each presentation is somewhat annoying. Not sure what it is, goes right through me

### "Log out annoyance"

July 6, 2022

3.0

Pros

Decent pictures. Intermittently good CEUs.

Cons

Stupid, Stupid, Stupid constant log outs. Make a home program, walk out into gym and start working with patient to make sure program is appropriate and boom, you are logged out and program is gone. Are we really so concerned that someone might print an unauthorized picture of a wall squat that we make the program obscenely annoying on an hourly basis. I log into medbridge more often than all other software I use put together.

Thank you for your feedback! We are glad you find the CEU courses a valuable resource, though we're sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with your experience with the home exercise program. We have tried to find a balance between security and convenience and in order to maintain security standards for HIPAA/HITRUST compliance, we do automatically log users out after 30 minutes of inactivity. ### " Medbridge for building HEP"

July 7, 2022

4.0

Pros

Most of my active senior patients like the paper/ hardcopy of their program over the use of logging in but it is a nice feature to have access to. Setting your "Favorites" is a time saving feature. One Access code can be opened and modified by multiple care providers.

Cons

Filling out the details such as reps, sets etc can be tedious for each exercise. Copying the text into patient chart does not just bring in the titles of each exercise instead it copies all the details : sets/reps/ hold time/ x per day for each exercise . This makes chart review more "messy" than it needs to be. I would prefer to open medbridge one time at the start of my day vs it closing out and needing to log back in multiple times. I am unable to save username and password for quick access

### "Medbridge - highly recommended "

September 29, 2022

5.0

From the user friendliness to the quality of continuing education courses to the customer service, Medbridge is, overall l, a phenomenal website that is well worth the money.

Pros

Medbridge allows me to quickly and easily make and save home exercise programs. It also has thousands of hours of high quality continuing education classes on a wide variety of topics. Medbridge is a phenomenal site that makes my job easier. It is relatively pricy, but it's definitely worth it. I will always be a subscriber as long as I'm a practicing physical therapist.

Cons

My only complaint about the software is that the home exercise database doesn't always have the exact exercise I want to give my patient, and it is somewhat challenging to modify exercise instructions on the site.
