The product works well, is easy to use, and provides real value for money. Pros We needed to extract information from search engines programmatically in large volumes. We looked around the products landscape and found SerpAPI to be best fit. Their product APIs are very well documented. The playground makes it easy to test the queries in various environments/conditions easily. The SerpAPI support is superb. I have always got answers in very timely manner. Even when some new feature is required, SerpAPI team is responsive on acting on customer requests. Overall We are super happy that we chose SerpAPI and have been a happy customer. Cons I didnt find any thing that needs to be improved significantly. I use it on one website to retrieve reviews. The free plan is does a lot for small project. The JSON file it provides is rich with datas. I recommend. In addition, the team responds quickly. Pros \- Ease of Use & Learning Curve : The document would help a lot any beginner, but if you at least working on creating a website, it is so easy to use that we not not really have to talk about "learning curve". As a PHP web developer, I set it up in one hour or less, taking my time to see what I could do. A beginner have take 2 hours maybe (most likely, for most of the time, looking for Google's ids and stuff). Coming from Google's documentation, SerpAPI offers a relaxing experience. - Web Scraping & Data Extraction : SerpAPI does what it says and it does it very well by providing a well sourced and structured JSON file. - Value for Money : I am doing fine with free plan. It gives you 8 reviews (your sort it by date or score, as you wish), width a decent amount of calls/month. The paid plan are not that expensive either, but i do not have the need yet. The SerpiAPI team has done a great job putting together all of the functionality in a simple to understand format. I use SerpAPI for several use cases and I just think they've done a great job with the overall product. Cons There's not much to not like. What they have works so well I just hope they continue expanding to connect into other systems.
