JS API is the best if you want to do custom rules and custom integrations within the site. We got full GDPR + CCPA compliant within days. Pros Easy to setup, Lots of options to customize the tool, lots of integrations including Google, Microsoft, facebook, rakuten etc., Autoblocker is a blessing and Great support is just a cherry on top. Cons We have been following their guides and there is nothing that I do not like about this app, it is performing great so far. Alternatives considered [OneTrust](https://www.capterra.com/p/174564/OneTrust/) Reason for choosing Pandectes GDPR Compliance Onetrust is also very good tool and offers lots of features but its like a whole new platform and you will have to learn the new platform to do things and i find it hard going through all the documentation rather than a simple step by step workflow within the app would have made it more nicer and also we are using shopify and having an app within shopify that we can login and view data all in one place would be excellent rather than logging into an external app. Switched from [Usercentrics](https://www.capterra.com/p/179357/Usercentrics/) Our contract was over and it seems Usercentrics were not tracking our website cookies and managing it correctly. Pros I like that there are real humans on the other side of the chat. He then went on to show me the best set up which should hopefully see a 85% acceptance rate of my cookies. Cons There is not really much I don't like- maybe the big jump in cost to the premium from the basic.
