Pros

Love customizing our “business card” with things like videos and links to our site. Always have my phone on me but not always physical business cards

Cons

Not everyone is familiar with digital cards yet and how to save info - sometimes more of a conversation and learning curve than would like it to be

Pros

Popl provides multiple ways to instantly share your contact information. The tap, NFC, and virtual backgrounds will definitely help us gain exposure and facilitate communication.

Cons

Pros

The ability to capture business cards and convert them into contacts and the ability to set a reminder to follow up with them at a predetermined time.

I have been trying to get my devices since the first week of March, and nothing has happened. The use of the code is good. Getting additional devices seems impossible, and the process is inefficient.

Pros

Easy to share links and info about the company.

Cons

The customer service. People don't seem to click on the links. People don't seem to understand what to do when the app requests them to enter their info.

Having a quick way to collect leads and not needing to Whip out my phone all the time makes networking more simplistic.

Pros

I love not having to carry my phone everywhere when at a networking function. Using Popl at these events makes us the "Cool Kids" on the Block. People are always intrigued.

Cons

Not fond of the need to use Zapier to link leads to our CRM and the Wristband can be slow if you are in some more remote areas.

People are always amazed by it and how simple it is. Has withstood various usage. Once you figure out how to use it, it’s worth every dollar. Highly recommend getting this for sales leads, connecting with people, etc.

Great - we've had a great team helping us along the process from answering our questions to demoing the set up.

Pros

I love how different popl is to other digital business card options we've seen. It's also so intuitive for how users interact with others digitally and I feel like all the small details have been thought through from branding to offering the opportunity for lead capture.

Cons

My largest pain point has been working through the integration portion of it but I believe we found a solve for this working with our IT team.

Pros

I like that I can manage all of the accounts as an admin. I like the ability to have customize the colors and aesthetics to match our branding. I like that Popl integrates with FollowUpBoss.

Cons

The actual Popl's have not held up well over time, and they were very expensive. We got custom ones and the print quickly fell off. I realized I could buy 50 NFC tags for $10, so we've been using those instead. The subscription is pretty expensive as well, and we may transition to just using website landing pages instead.

Pros

It has an administrative feature and customer support.

Cons

Popl only gives 30-minute onboarding - did not get through all of the functions. I went through twice and I am frustrated.

Excellent

Pros

It is a talking point initially when I meet people at networking events. It works well enough that I am able to capture more and it is worth having and paying for as a solo loan officer and it is not reimbursed by my branch or company.

Cons

Every now and again I can't get it to work on someone else's phone and that makes me look a bit daft. Also some of the editing that I will do doesn't stick. For example I have had to go back and remake a custom tile several times but that is only one example. Not a huge deal but that could be better and should be.
