Pros I downloaded Pareto Security as part of the Setapp applications by Mac Paw out of curiosity and wanting to discover more of its features and assess if it would be of any benefit. After running it I realized how much I needed it and probably should have had it from day one. There were a lot of vulnerabilities such as firewall being off and other settings such permission restrictions. These are things that do not often come to mind but do not escape the scrutiny of Pareto Security. I run tests once a week and I feel more secure with it checking and ensuring all is well on the background. Cons Most of these type of softwares require full access to disk which makes me a bit uncomfortable but the benefit of Pareto far out weighs the risk it may present. Pareto does a great job of simplifying that process in a way that the general public can understand. Since it’s accessible through the menubar, Pareto is always within reach and easy to view/adjust. Huge win! Cons Overall this is a really impressive tool with a robust feature set. I do hope add more context around the features and potentially certain integrations if security would not be compromised.
