Broker Commercial Real Estate Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "User unfriendly zero support no reliable tut" July 12, 2024 2.0 Zero support, zero welcome new customers, zero trying to keep you for next month. Not a customer freindly business Pros If you can figure it out it have good scanner but extremely hard to set up and use. Worse than coding. Cons It was malfunctioning from the start. I tried three different credit cards, each time encountering a different error, and I ended up giving the card information through a chatbot with a live support to make it work. Once you have access, it is extremely hard to use or to save chart designs or any changes. There won’t be any live support for products only for pay! As for Holy AI, the same issues persist. You can't see what it is trading. When you email them, they send you to their YouTube channel. When you call, they never answer their phone. It's a hit-and-miss way to do business. They should care about new customers and at least offer a 30-minute walkthrough. Instead, they again email you a link to YouTube. Their YouTube tutorials are said to be by an AI, and it's not easy to listen to—machine vs. man. Overall, they charge you $250 per month for hard-to-use software and do not provide a proper user manual. Review Source NZ Nicolas Z. Customer support is very efficient as well! Pros The software is really made for traders. The user interface is easy to use and to configure and most important very stable. Data management is very powerful. Cons The "weakness" is the charting area, there are lacking of some basic indicators (SAR, EMA, OBV, FINONACCI). March 23, 2024 5.0 It fills the roll of strategy scanner that got removed from etrade pro which was absolutely critical to the kind of trading I do. And don't get me wrong, I do LOVE trade ideas, it's an absolutely invaluable service. It's completely customizable, easy to learn, especially if you used to use strategy scanner because it's the same thing even the alert and filter icons are the same graphics lol. Pros The live real time scanners. Sense etrade got rid of strategy scanner there's nothing else you can use to build real time live scanners. I mean at this point you don't even need to keep advertising it. You're literally all there is. Cons I hate those giant race things that take up most of the screen. You need to make those adjustable in size. It's also overly complex to build a docked layout. A non docked window layout is easy, but a docked one is hard, and I flip between multiple screens so I'm constantly minimizing things down and pulling them pack up. Cons The product is not profitable yet and there are no advertised updates now. Some of the advertised features like Holly, Holly Grail, etc, are no longer available and this was disappointing. Pros I've used trade ideas for over 3 years now and I am very satisfied with their product. I use it everyday to access real time data in the market and have had next to zero issues or outages. You can apply many filters and categories to sort through the data you are trying to find in the market. For example, I specifically sort through stocks with the highest Current Volume and Gap % everyday. This tool is absolutely essential for the individual day trader in the market. Cons Trade Ideas price is the only negative aspect to it. I only use it for real time data and it would be nice if there was a price option just for that function. I have been hooked ever since. Pros TI ability to scan the mkts and find stocks meeting a multitude of scanning criteria that would be impossible for me to do. Stocks that I may not even know exists could be presented as a possible trade that w/o TI I would miss out. Cons It can be a bit of a resource hog at times. But in all fairness, my system is in need of upgrade/replacement. It helps me catch all setups for my strategy, while keeping me out of the market when my setup is not present. Obviously, one still has to have the screen time, know what to trade and how, but if you have an idea about these things - Trade Ideas is a true game changer. Keep up the great work! Pros The layout is super flexible and easy to set up according to my needs. Alerts can be created and tweaked easily and they work reliably. Cons The features are rich and varied, I'm only missing two options for stock alerts: 1) size of wicks vs body in the last candle (one can use the ratio of Range vs Move, but it's not the same) 2) the possibility to capture a candle close above the High of Day / Low of Day. Pros This product gives me the signal about what is moving in the market and is the app I use to discover opportunities of any kind, depending on the time of day, trading style etc. Cons It lacks a really strong simulation module allowing programming like logic. I have been able to customize scanners to find stocks of interest, and the backtester lets me know if the strategies are profitable. Pros The custom settings and alerts to find stocks of interest Cons seems to get hung up later in the day. A restart of TI usually clears the cache but I lose the alerts that have triggered. Also, when backtesting, a symbol will only trigger once per day, so its tough to develop a scalping strategy with the backtester Review Source KK Kasokota K. Cons Doesn't work in premarket except premarket scanner. Relative Volume doesn't work at all up unting the market opens. It's highly intuitive which makes it easy to learn and customize for your specific trading needs and wants. The premade screeners are great and it's easy to modify them for your specific wants and needs. Customer service is always available. Pros The preset screeners coupled with my personalization make for a terrific product. I have them set for the type of trades I want to do - short, long, calls, puts, and earnings plays. I have different screeners for pre, post and during market. Cons It's expensive especially with free screeners out there but once I've set up my needs it runs so well and I've become accustomed to using all the features that it would be difficult for me to switch to another product even if it were free or less expensive. Reason for choosing Trade Ideas I love trading view for their alerts and custom charts but it's limited with screeners and you don't have as many options as with TI. Review Source AA Abraham A. Excellent (prompt, knowledgeable) customer support. Cons Would like to be able to set alerts based on MACD calculations that include after hours data. Also, it takes substantial time investment to learn how to get the most out of it. I’ve been at it for some time but I know there is much more that I can take advantage of.
