Pros

CommandPost® enabled our Event Control Centre to have real time collaboration between agencies to respond to incidences. The platform provides visibility on all operational tasks, across multiple event sites, to prioritise response, and ensure efficient management of teams to deliver a smooth event.The safety aspect that CommandPost® brings to an event enables a coordinated response from multiple agencies to ensure participants are in safe hands. The platform is easy to use, and the uptake from agencies is easy once they understand its potential. Gone are the days of post it notes!CommandPost® with What3Words can pinpoint the location of an incident, provide access to medical records (of authorised uses only) and relay information to on-the-ground personnel to update incident logs with photos and information in real time. We have significantly reduced the response time to medical incidences with CommandPost®.The team at CommandPost® adapted the functionality of the platform to create a bespoke solution for our event that pioneers the adventure racing scene, and sets a gold standard in event control centre operations. Highly recommend testing it out.

Cons

There was initial hesitation from emergency response agencies to adopt this solution.After training and using the product, these agencies have realised its collaboration potential and are now championing CommandPost® to their colleagues.

Pros

I've used CommandPost for multiple operations now, within the role as incident controller. As an industry professional, with over 15 years of experience, I've been able to this platform to compare a multitude of other cloud-based products. I've been particularly impressed with how CommandPost has allowed for effective multi-agency and incident coordination. CommandPost has been the most streamlined of platforms we’ve used previously, and it’s easily customised to each user/responsibility. The clean look, the user friendly functions, and the ability to enable integrations/add-ons has meant that the platform can be used across a number of different cases.

Cons

Nothing to report here. This software is the best on the market.

Implementing CP into our command and control centres for events has taken the strain and stress of ensuring all agencies and stakeholders get the information they require. It was easy to set up and get everyone onto the platform. The system is transparent and most of all our clients who are seeing the end result were pleased in the time and money they had invested in us to allow us to have CP as part of our tools of trade. this has now resulted in upland coming work / contracts made easier as they have witnessed first hand how CP makes a different for the money they have spent. in turn this has ensured that further events will have CP engaged into the program. Myself and our clients are seeing true value and results in real time and reporting with this system.

Pros

I would have to say all of the features were important as they played an extremely important role in saving lives. It is such an easy program to use but the functionalities are most definitely on point for it's intended purpose.

Cons

As explained prior I think having a large flashing icon button for when new messages received would assist, other then that nothing that comes to mind.

Reasons for choosing CommandPost

Most of the programs I have used prior have been back yard systems that some companies had put together. there have been some more commercial programs however extremely clunky, customer support very slow. Functions of the other systems I have used were perhaps half what CP offers. CP offered 3 to 4 items in one program that others I had used before did not. CP offers such a powerful and fast platform which I beleive and have witnessed save lives. The past job where I used CP was at Oxfam, a lady was suffering suspected heart attack, decreasing in health greatly and was a time critical incident. The ability to type in real time information coming in from the field and allowing all services to view, provided the ability for them to ready their man power and resource. While I collaborated with these agencies direction where being provided. With all this information channeling in it provided an above average response and aided in the critical care getting to this lady. Ambulance services commented that perhaps not having had such a system may have provided a different outcome to this ladies situation.
