From a management perspective it is a great tool to easily view the status of procurement. Also how it links up to your documentation platform eg. aconex. Cons using excel online version still isn't quite as good as using the application in a normal sense. You do not get full visibility and functions of the spreadsheet as you would if you downloaded it and used it normally. However then you run the risk of having errors in the spreadsheet if downloaded. Like wise with word, find it feels a little clunky editing word documents within procure. We appreciate there are some limitations with the Microsoft Excel Online. Given it's a browser-based application, it doesn't have the same functionality as the desktop application. Pros Everything is combined in one place and it's so helpful to see the schedule of when everything needs to be done for procurement. Cons The new scope of works template seems to add too many options to this feature and the previous version was more streamlined. It has allowed tracking and reporting with senior management to be effective and also down the line with contracts administrator. ProcurePro is a valubale tool that I use daily as a construction project manager. Pros Very simple and effective to use. Love that it is a one stop shop for procurement from tendering to executing the contract. Cons Have not come across any cons with using ProcurePro. Pros Consolidated location for procurement. Cloud based for vetting and review. Cons Unclear what the tenderers are seeing. If docs are uploaded, synced but no addendum issued, do they see updated docs? Needs control of whether addendum for certain trades is required. Once a trade package is created and vett sheet is created, cannot go back and start a new sheet without having to delete the entire trade and starting from the start. I haven't found anything that dramatically impacts me in ProcurePro. The name "procurepro" could do with a rethink. It makes reviewing all relevant documents easy and you can make amendments and get them changed inside procurepro. It automatically sends the document to the next person in the work flow so it make sit very easy to track. Cons I have found no cons to date. I think the product is well thought out and very well designed. The developers have spent a lot of time working out who uses the product and tailored the interface for them. Pros the approval workflow process is very easy to use. It saved us a lot of time getting approval from the management. very streamlined. The comparison tool is also very powerful. The way the prices get presented is very neat and clear. Cons I still have not figured out how to delete a vendor on tender summary. It disappeared for a second and came back again. Sometimes the contract function does not work properly either. It does not capture the updated data.
