What I will say is that the 50 to 70 percent profit margin on digital products is real math, not marketing math, and after 6 weeks my ad spend returned $3 for every $1 I put in.

Overall, I liked the product. I liked how easy it was to get up and running and was actually thinking about buying a custom domain and really ramping up my sales. But, I just could not stomach all of those fees! It got to the point where the platform had a casino cage vibe… Super excessive ads for vague upgrades abound in their dashboard. Also, multiple times I had to ask for a refund for things that I either didn’t know I would be charged for, or I didn’t realize was a one click purchase. To be honest, I’m still skeptical that all of the orders that came through actually did so organically and weren’t engineered somehow… especially because much of the customer information was obfuscated.

Pros

It was extremely easy to get a site up and running and start receiving orders. I started getting orders the same day I started my free trial.

Cons

This is an easy one — the greed with the fees is out of control. You have to pay to process the orders that come in, which makes sense, even if the orders are for digital products… But Sellvia also charges 10% for processing. Oh and $10 a day for advertising. Oh and 25% is held for risk reserve. Oh and you can automate the order processing… for another 30% on top of the 10% they already charge. And I absolutely assure you, I am not making this up.

The Sellvia Payments system honestly just works - I've been processing transactions daily without any hiccups or failed charges. Money gets collected from customers reliably, and I haven't had to deal with payment disputes or technical issues on that end. That's huge when you're running an online store because payment problems can tank your business real quick.

Cons

My one real complaint is that withdrawals take a bit longer than I'd like - it's not instant or next-day like some other platforms offer.
