I used it extensively for customer feedback-type scenarios on a very regular basis and I never experienced frustration with the app. I still use it but not as regularly as I once did. It is one of the most intuitive tools I have ever used. There are also some cool data visualization options that I didn't use as much but are nice to have available. Pros SurveyMonkey is very easy to use and it has great flexibility. I really like that I can generate a survey very quickly or use it for something more elaborate if necessary. Specifically, I like the number of question formats that are either more difficult to create with other products or not available. Cons For some reason, I have had a hard time with download options. It's not hard. But I almost always select options incorrectly before I remember the settings for getting all the individual responses in a spreadsheet format. I don't now what the barrier is to me remembering that. User error, I'm sure. Sure, it’s not the cheapest option out there, but it’s reliable and the whole team can figure it out on their own without any formal training. It works well enough for a growing company that needs quick feedback loops but isn't trying to run massive research operations. Pros We mostly use it for post-event surveys and checking in with customers every now and then. The templates are a lifesaver when we’re in a rush to get something sent out the same day. Plus, the question logic actually works without much fuss, and exporting to Excel is simple enough that our small team can handle the data ourselves without needing any fancy extra software. Cons The pricing jumped way up once we hit their response limits, and honestly, that happened a lot faster than we expected during our product launch. When we would send out marketing info we would tap into survey monkey for additional info. IT also helped offset complaints. Because we would give the option of a survey. And if someone complained we could ask if they completed the survey. And, also, use the data from the survey as a reference point for feedback to resolve many situations.
