It’s quick to get surveys up and running, offers clean analytics, and works well across teams. Despite a few technical and integration quirks, it remains my go-to survey solution due to its stability, affordability, and thoughtful design. At this point, I’m very satisfied and don’t see a reason to switch to another platform. Pros SurveyMonkey makes it incredibly easy to design, configure, and launch surveys in just a few minutes. Now it has even improved its relevancy with the addition of the AI generated surveys. I still use the template surveys but the ability to create my own with a single prompt has been super helpful! Pros I'm loving being able to use the template surveys as well as the AI generated surveys that provide a more customized approach! Cons NO cons! I used it extensively for customer feedback-type scenarios on a very regular basis and I never experienced frustration with the app. I still use it but not as regularly as I once did. It is one of the most intuitive tools I have ever used. There are also some cool data visualization options that I didn't use as much but are nice to have available. Pros SurveyMonkey is very easy to use and it has great flexibility. I really like that I can generate a survey very quickly or use it for something more elaborate if necessary. Specifically, I like the number of question formats that are either more difficult to create with other products or not available. Cons For some reason, I have had a hard time with download options. It's not hard. But I almost always select options incorrectly before I remember the settings for getting all the individual responses in a spreadsheet format. I don't now what the barrier is to me remembering that. User error, I'm sure. The options for displaying survey results have allowed us to create easy summaries that aid in decision-making, employee reviews, and policy-changes. I appreciate that I can copy and update previous surveys that I made, so that I don't have to start from scratch every time. Cons I don't have any complaints yet. Surveys come in all lengths and the format for completion is easily to follow and very user friendly. Even those that consider themselves technologically challenged will not find this easy to use. Pros The majority of surveys I complete for my companies use survey monkey. It is very user friendly, seems like it is relatively inexpensive, easy to design and allows employees to give feedback. Alot of times it is used to see if employees feel like we are working together as a team. Cons You do face some ads. When you are done it always wants you to use survey monkey for something too. Im honestly shocked the automation triggers didn't completely crash when we hooked them up to Slack. It takes less time than the old boring forms. Cons The reporting dashboards are so confusing. When you click into individual questions to check the skip conditions it takes literally forever to load and it lags so bad which drives me crazy when I am trying to finish a campaign. It is easy to use and as mentioned supports multi-lingual. We are able to send out surveys to help our board make decisions based on homeowner sentiment. Pros We have members whose native language is Spanish so it helps being able to create a multi-lingual survey. That is a big plus! Cons I created a trial account at a higher level, then when converted to paid, downgraded to a lower tier. I actually had to create a new account to do so. That seems a bit cumbersome. Cons One time I built a survey and I thought I could send it out to all employees, but they gave me a limit of I believe 30 people because I had not signed up and bought a plan yet. It wasn’t clear when I started creating the survey without having an account that there was a limit of how many people that I could send it to. We use it to solicit parent feedback and find that it is easy to generate multiple question types and it is also easy for parents to respond. Pros It is very easy to use and provides good responses and is good for filing answers for a large group of people. The survey design is easy to use for all. It helps engage the whole team in participating due to ease of use and how quick the responses you provide are. Immediate results are sent and immediately gathered by the person sending the survey. Cons It always makes you attempt to sign in after using and creating an account which is not something I want to do. There is no go back button on response pages which can be bad if I want to change an answer.
