Pros What I like most is that you’re able to complete surveys from anywhere in the world and receive money and a pay out whether it’s points or currency. I’ve grown to love this software and apps and have it on all of my devices that are able to download it you can cash out via PayPal and it’s very easy to navigate and use use of convenience is perfect and recommend it highly to all of my peers and coworkers. Cons Well I like leases that most of the survey is legal to nothing however I love that they keep a point system so you don’t just waste your time . Pros I love that I get a detailed report sent to me every Monday! We use this at work to see how our customer interactions are and what we can do better. We put them on iPads for all the Sales Reps to use. This has been vital to growing as individuals and as a staff. Cons I like a lot of it (the parts that I use), but sometimes you have to refresh a TON to get to a new submission page. On the last page where it says it's been successfully submitted, it would be great to have a button that was "new submission" rather than having to go out of the browser (we use Safari) and going back in. The user can start deploying surveys and polls promoting consumer and employee engagement with little to no advanced computer and/or IT expertise. Customer service at SurveyMonkey takes severe shortcuts. This has been their biggest mistake, in my opinion. Despite some recent improvements, there is still extremely minimal assistance, particularly for their subscription services. To gather information from both customers and staff, simple surveys, quizzes, and polls can be easily created with SurveyMonkey. Smaller, autonomous, non-profit organisations in need of simple data gathering and study creation would benefit most from using SurveyMonkey. This was the first survey platform I had ever used, and I was impressed by its user-friendliness. Upon switching to another platform, I still think that SurveyMonkey remains the best option for those unfamiliar with this kind of software. Pros I like the user-friendliness of SurveyMonkey, which dwarfs its competitors. My company has recently switched to another survey service (through no choice of my own), and the learning curve is much higher with the new software. Cons The data analytics features in SurveyMonkey, while still practical and user-friendly, can be lacking when compared to other survey\\feedback services. I would love for the customer service options to not be tiered and accessible all across the board. At times we had quick questions, but required more work to ask then the actual answer to the problem. Pros The usability of it! Our account is open across our organization which means different experiences engaging in technology. Those people within our organization who aren't the most tech savvy are still able to use the platform with little assistance. The process makes it pretty easy to walk through setting up your survey, especially if you are sending similar types of surveys, the copy feature is the best! Cons Sometimes we have difficulty creating list for who to send the survey to. At times we want to send the survey to the same group of people with one addition. Each time the program would create a whole new group which left us with several groups and a lot of cleanup on the other end. If they fix the QR codes so that people can use without needing a link. I would definitely recommend it to other programs I'm affiliated with. Pros In my opinion I prefer the customization and real time data that SurveyMonkey. As it helped the program I'm in understand and evaluate the performance of the program. Cons QR codes gave difficulties at some points of time, 50/50. Where it didn't matter what phone the person had, still had the same problem. I'd wish they would improve on their QR codes. You also don't loose your information, like you would with emails. The design features after the survey has been completed is extremely helpful since I am a graphic designer. You can show the progress easily to coworkers and have proof that what you are doing is working! Pros There are so many ways to ask questions with this tool. I love that you can use photos as your answer choices. Being a temporary work-from-home graphic designer and event planner, this tool has helped us receive and send out information. We have virtual contests where people submit and vote on their favorite pictures. I use this program to first, gather images from employee's all across the country, and second, create a display for those submission to be voted on. The "upload files" widget has been a life saver when we cannot send/receive emails of thousands of large photos. Without this tool, I would not have been able to do my event planning/graphic design job. Cons I am a designer and hit the Escape button all the time to exit out of what I am doing. If you are a graphic designer, you know what I mean. I also try to do that with this program when I am editing/creating a question. When you do that, it does not save your changes, it just exits you out of the question editing field and takes you back to your main page. I do it so mindlessly that I loose my work all the time and have to re-type everything! Pros I appreciated how easy it was to customize the format of questions to gather information for our research projects. I also liked how easy it was to utilize the link for the survey and give it out to others. VERY user-friendly! I did not have any experience with such software before my first undergraduate research project, but had no trouble figuring out how to create a survey and analyze data from Survey Monkey. Cons The feature I liked least about this software was that sometimes it was difficult to remember the format of each question and sometimes there was check boxes for some and "select one" bubble responses for others. It could be difficult to go back and forth and it required time and patience to go back and forth if I accidentally messed something up. I absolutely love the help tools the platform offers for those with questions pertaining to how to make the best survey. That is one of the greatest pros about SurveyMonkey - the user-friendly nature of the platform. Furthermore, the reporting on surveys is extremely well-done. SurveyMonkey offers several reporting functions for best visualizing the data stemming from the surveys. I have really appreciated the visual nature of the platform and think it mixes perfectly between a social and work collaboration tool. Cons There are a couple things that I wish SurveyMonkey was better at as a service. First, involves the logic and conditional formatting. SurveyMonkey is a bit more work (compared to other larger competitors) when setting up conditional functions. It is often more taxing and time consuming to create these types of surveys.
