Really positive- for the purposes of tweakable surveys for internal (but also external) use it is super useable- would recommend for those looking for an entry level survey platform

Pros

It is very easy to use, super functional for SMEs in understanding internal feedback and to enable input from staff

Cons

I'm not sure if we wanted to add much more functionality it would be possible but it would be unfair to criticise the product on this basis as I have not attempted it

SM has helped us get to know our audiences at live events, as well as allowing our audiences to leave us honest feedback. It's been a powerful tool for us!

Pros

I've tried several brands and versions of survey software, and I always end up coming back to survey monkey. It's so simple to use, it integrates well with our mail software and the results are easy to read and tabulate. I don't know why we experiment with other programs, because we have yet to find all the features and benefits of SM. (The free plan is amazing robust!)

Cons

Our biggest problem is that we don't use it enough to warrant a regular subscription. We use surveys in blasts, but if we needed a regular subscription for constant use, we wouldn't hesitate to purchase one of the paid plans.

Overall it has worked well for us over the years. We've used some other software to meet specific needs we had that SurveyMonkey can't but in terms of total product satisfaction we will continue to utilize it as our primary provider.

Pros

You have the ability to customize questions in a variety of ways, including the overall survey design. Reporting is easy to do and can be as pinpointed or broad as you need it. Easy to export and analyze data.

Cons

It's not always intuitive (and the latest update was a struggle for some of our users). Finding information on how to do some of the more complex question settings is difficult as well. A few survey design quirks as well, but that's aesthetic and less important than functionality overall.

My overall experience with SurveyMonkey has been a positive learning one. I started using SM in college and now with my employer. SM is easy to learn and easy to find the different functionalities and options.

Pros

I like how easy it is to analyze results and turn them into a spreadsheet for reports.

Cons

What I like least about it is the template for survey. Seems a bit boring and dated

Great! Go paperless by creating online forms and stop tedious manual-entry work!

Pros

Our organization was spending excess money on ink and paper, plus creating a lot of paper waste from completing pro and post survey forms. We used SurveyMonkey to transform form to online version, which enabled us to go paperless (a great benefit for us and the environment!) and eliminated need to enter printed forms into computer. This has saved over 2 hours a week, made us more productive, and we can do more with the data gathered faster. SurveyMonkey is a great option with great customization options!

Cons

Not common issue, but if connection cuts out (we have patchy wifi) form is not submitted / can be lost.

It has been years of using survey monkey for research purposes and it has been the best. The free version is easy to use and super fast to learn how to use it. It can be used even by undergraduates and collects data in a matter of seconds. I would highly recommend the use of it. The data analysis may be complemented with another software.

Pros

The software is one of the easiest methods to create surveys online and still to date one of the most used due to the ease of managing it. You can create surveys in 30 minutes and once you finish, distribute them in seconds to thousands of users via the most important contact methos and socil media.

Cons

I think it is extremely simple and because of that, it may lack areas of opportunity. Overall it does the trick.

Pros

I love how easy it is to fill out a survey no matter the length of it. It's easy to navigate and makes survey taking fun no matter the content.

Cons

Sometimes it takes a while to load the next page but that could be due to network connectivity.

Pros

I've used this software many times and had a subscription for a year. The software was easy to understand and the surveys, easy to create. It was easy to add pictures and view the results. I thought the question format options were much better than Google Forms, which I also use. I loved the data output features. It was very easy to use one of the three options to send out the survey.

Cons

While the software platform is easy to use and access, I found that the transition between creating and viewing a survey to sending out the survey was a little clunky. I think that aspect could be better illustrated for the user. Perhaps, an online video? Also, I would have appreciated advice on building a good survey. I know everyone has different opinions, but I think having examples of business friendly, student friendly, informal, etc., would have been useful.

With the SurveyMonkey for Enterprise subscription, all the data is owned by the company and we can re-assign accounts as needed. In this way - no data is ever lost. We simply don't have to worry about someone's account holding the data that is being gathered on behalf of the company. All the forms and data is under the company account.

Pros

SurveyMonkey is an excellent solution for enterprise survey needs, both internal and external. We use SurveyMonkey for our Sarbanes-Oxley control environmental surveys, employee feedback on helpdesk tickets, RSVP to company events, enrollment forms, and many more... HR, Marcom, Compliance, all these departments have an account in our SurveyMonkey for Enterprise subscription. All the data is owned by the company and we can re-assign accounts as needed.

Cons

You can white label the service, using the research.net URL, but you can't use your own domain with the service.

Overall it works well and does what it is intended to. At times, it has been invaluable for disseminating employee opinions in a an easy and sometimes anonymous capacity that might otherwise not have been possible.

Pros

For someone who didn't know much about how it worked before we started, I was easily able to pick it up and run with it. Survey's and polls are a breeze to put together and send out. The analytics are helpful and easy to interpret.

Cons

Forms Automation definitely required a bit of a learning curve to get a handle on, but once you have it down, it does go smoothly for the most part.

We have used it for many years and never thought of using an alternative. We have maintained the subscription annually because there is always an application for our practice to use this tool. The clients are familiar with it which makes it easy on us and easy on them.

Pros

The ease of use and ability to customize are my favorite features. The security and professionalism of using this software is a must for the tasks we use it for, plus we find our users are familiar with the product which is helpful in conducting broad surveys. Downloading the data to Excel is super easy.

Cons

The pricing keeps inching up year by year.

Since using this feature I has help solve problems with foundation issues, employment, renting and how to help each other. The question on the survey are base of what companies that is needing information while you ar not there. So the best thing about is it can collect information from everyone which help to get a better idea as to making thing much easier.

Pros

I have use surveymonkey for many years. I must say the function are very east to use. It not alot question like most surveys but you can download to your phone and tablet and set up an account. I have had to use it outside of my with other companies that use this feature as well.

Cons

I can't complain about anything I didn't like but if I found that was I will be sure to update what are the cons.

### "Easy and fun "

I am a teacher. I have also worked as the newspaper and yearbook sponsor. I use SurveyMonkey to create personalized polls for the newspaper. I also use SurveyMonkey to vote on the senior superlatives page in the yearbook (best eyes, most likely to be a YouTuber, etc). It's quick and easy to use and the end result is so much cleaner than than having kids write down their vote and counting them out later.

Pros

Aside from the name, I love that this is quick and easy to use. It's customizable and there are some really great free features. I've only paid for extra options once, but the price was very reasonable, and it saved me so much time.

Cons

I really don't have anything I don't like about this product. I mean, I guess it would be nice if all of the features could be free, but that's true for anything.

Pretty good experience overall. The price is pretty low, but I recommend paying for it since the free version was pretty limiting in my opinion. The functionality met our needs. They also have a great market research team who can help you gather data. That's not something we tapped into yet, but we have plans to. It does so much more than just simply create your form. If you're looking for data/insights, I recommend looking into Survey Monkey!

Pros

We switched over from Google Forms since some organizations actually ban Google Suite products. Using Survey Monkey allowed more people to access our forms and provide us with feedback. Overall, the forms are pretty simple and straight forward to use. With the paid version, you have the option to customize a lot, such as the types of questions/responses and the layout.

Cons

Unlike Google Forms, you have to pay to use most of Survey Monkey's functionality. Their free option is pretty limiting, in my opinion. Creating your own template/layout was a bit challenging for us, but their support team was helpful! I think once you get the hang of it, it gets much easier

I like the way it's fast and easy for me to setup (and edit) surveys - and also how the finished survey is easy for clients and staff to "next next next" through the survey quickly.

Pros

I think the best thing about Survey Monkey is how easy it is to use. No fancy bells and whistles - just an easy platform to create, publish and track surveys. I use it both for external use (with customers), as well as internal use - so my team can fill in their own self-reporting surveys about their weekly activities.

Cons

I don't have an problems with the software. I've been using it for at least 5 years now - and am very happy.

Reason for choosing SurveyMonkey

Survey Monkey was the most popular / well-known product, so I did a trial with it first - liked it, and stuck with it.

Pros

I really like using Surveymonkey to gather feedback and input from our current user base. It is easy to use and allows you to customize the questions and the way in which you pose each question. With lots of functionality and customization, you can create your survey to meet your business needs. I also like how they provide examples for each question and examples of how to rate each question (if needed). Also, they way each question is laid out makes it visually easy to review and reference. Creating surveys and forms have never been easier. Best of all, they do offer a free version which allows you to use their software without spending a lot.

Cons

Their tool offers a lot of functionality but the free version is pretty limited. For example, you will not be able to export the survey results into a nice looking bar graph, etc unless you upgrade. We got by with using the free version for a survey but I would definitely upgrade if I used it more often because the paid functionality would be worth the fee.

Pros

It's easy to use and quick to set up. It works well for a quick survey to find out where the team stands on important decisions.

Cons

Not a lot of personalization. As I mentioned earlier, it's a great product for quick and easy to set up surveys, but I would probably shop for a different product if I was addressing clients.

Pros

Our company just recently switched to Survey Monkey and there has definitely been somewhat steep learning curve as we figure out how to design surveys to have results calculated and formatted in the way that works best for us. Overall the software is easy to use interface-wise and I know once we get the hang of it it will be a snap. But the purpose of this review is to commend their EXCELLENT customer service representatives. I have had to call/annoy their team about 15 times and they have taken tons of time to walk me through my questions. If they aren't 100% sure of the answer off the bat, they find it for you. You can tell they are actually dedicated to making sure their software works in the best way. They are survey nerds ... in the best way possible ... and clearly believe in their product. I've had them follow up with personal emails and links to interesting information they've found that might help give you more info/background on whatever you were asking about. With our enterprise account, we have the option to get a phone call from them and they always call promptly, are friendly and super helpful. I really cannot say enough good things about their team.

Cons

There are some results format options that aren't available, but again, I think we just need to get over the learning curve and it won't be a problem.
