I also set up some surveys using this platform and it was very intuitive, easy to understand, and required little to no training. Anytime someone comes to me saying they are bored I always bring up SurveyMonkey. I have done surveys for YEARS! It started out with boredom myself and then to make a little side money. The surveys are never to long and are usually about a subject your into. Cons The most annoying thing would be that sometimes I would be a good portion into the survey and I would no longer qualify. Pros It's easy to use interface makes it faster and efficient to take online surveys instantly. All you have to do is provide questions and options as answers to choose from. The results are well managed and easy to compare. Even the beginners can fluently use the tool after some basic training which makes it a perfect survey tool for everyone. Cons It is definitely one of the good ones out there but it's not the best. It has some top notch alternatives which are even more effective and catchy. But its fine too, they just need to make more options available and make results more managed then it will be perfect too! That's not to say it's a bad tool, I just know there's reliability in terms of the functionality and layout. I know I can build a very straightforward questionnaire with a lot of the bells and whistles without too much effort. I've enjoyed reading the results and some of the visualizations are actually alright (overdue for an upgrade). Cons I would love a wordpress plugin that works with weighting different answers alongside a per survey price. I realize you guys can't do a per survey price but that would be life changing for the way I would run user surveys and potentially social based quizes. Pros It is a cost effective tool for simple surveys if you are using the free version. It is an economical way to send out surveys or questionnaires and I like the fact that employees are able to provide their responses confidentially. Knowing that their responses are confidential, unless they choose otherwise, helps to increase their participation when seeking input or feedback about an organization matter. Cons Because I use the free version, data extraction is not simple as you cannot create a spreadsheet or use other analytics for data analysis. However, I have also upgraded to the pay option and was easily able to create a spreadsheet by response. Review Source EK Eva K. Time money is saved. We have aways got feedback and recommendation that was difficult to be discussed via phone. Pros The site is easy to use. It enables me to get feedback from our clients on a monthly basis about our resolution of issues as well as response. It's very important since not all clients will be available via phone calls for the survey. Feedback has been very informative to our organization, since more people will be very honest with their answers while they stay anonymous. Cons You may not get the required feedback if you send it to the wrong email address, or if the intended recipients do not check their emails frequently. If you send the link, without first verifying that it's working, the recipients are likely not to take the survey once you send the correct link the second time. Sometimes, my supervisors request for the survey feedback to have the name of the person who participated. This can be challenging as more people prefer to be anonymous. Pros It's ease of use and how ease to configure and prepare. Also the analytics of the results are very helpful. Cons Nothing to think about. We have the full suuite so, I don't know if the free version is missing some important features. We used it to ask our employees how they were feeling during the global pandemic in 2020. We had to act fast and surveymonkey really helped us get a grip on the virus within out company Cons The look and feel of the surveys are below par in my opinion. It doesnt matter that much since its a survey, but more customisation with shapes and styling via .css or a custom uploaded template would have been amazing. April 25, 2019 5.0 Pros SurveyMonkey is a gorgeous software that allows you to collect customized data through surveys. I've used this software in my organization to get a pulse on job satisfaction, ideas for improvement, and more! I'd definitely say this product is worth your time. You can collect data while also providing your survey participants with anonymity throughout the whole process. You'll love it! Cons It has comparable features to other software, which is why I use SurveyMonkey for specific data collection and other software as well. If there was a possibility for it to be more comprehensive and offer more in the realm of data collection, I'd be far happier. Without a doubt though, this product is incredible, especially since it's free! The last time I received a survey through SurveyMonkey, I had no idea it was SurveyMonkey until I clicked submit. SurveyMonkey allows companies to truly make polls their own with custom logos and branding capabilities. I've never had any technological hangups when completing or submitting something through SurveyMonkey, so the software is reliable. I have limited experience working with SurveyMonkey from the administrator's perspective, but the analytics features are far more robust than something like Microsoft Forms. Cons The basic plan is somewhat limited with its options. It is pretty easy to navigate and create surveys, and also to edit surveys that others have created. I also like it because it is a recognizable name and has great brand recognition. If you send a SurveyMonkey survey out, people will respond. Cons Sometimes the interface is clunky and could be a little easier to use. I would also like to see different formats for surveys. The integration works great for this purpose. Pros This survey software has saved our teams from having to write custom survey software/websites time and time again. There are tons of helpful integrations, including an integration to write survey responses directly back to Salesforce Marketing Cloud's Data Extensions. It's also easy to pass parameters from the survey URL into the behind-the-scenes data, or to use a survey variables on screen. Cons It might take a few tries to get the software to do what you're trying to do, depending on how complex of a survey you're attempting to make--but it gets easier as you go. Review Source Mia G. Pros As a survey-taker, I love that I am easily to just click a link that a friend or colleague has shared and quickly provide them with answers and information that is helpful to them in a quick and easy way. I have never had issues with the software- I find it easy to answer on and I think it has changed the game for survey-taking. Cons I do not have any cons as a survey-taker using SurveyMonkey.
