I have been happy with the free plan and haven't found a real need to pay for a plan yet. I think if I need a more detailed data survey, I would shop around before committing. Pros Survey Monkey is a great tool for feedback from staff or potential patients. It is easy to set-up and use. I have used it at trade shows and conferences on iPads and it is easy to navigate. Cons I have only used Survey Monkey for more basic surveys and those features have been fine. The software does encourage you to use other features, but doesn't tell you till the end that you have to update/pay more to use that feature in the survey. Also, I haven't had great luck with their support getting back to me in a timely manner. I don't like that their logo/branding is included in the emails. Review Source DM Don M. Cons My last name is difficult which has cause me many issues over the years. If there's a name select option (instead of typing it in) my company really needs to make use of it. It doesn’t have a lot of complex eye attracting design, it’s simple and does its purpose. Anyone can fill out a form so you don’t need to be explaining the steps every time you send the survey to someone. Cons I mean, this is simple. The surveys look professional for the person filling it out and they're easy to navigate. No training necessary to learn the system and get up and running creating surveys and reviewing results. The dashboard for the survey results help to get an overall picture but also gives you the ability to drill down and analyze by respondent if you need to. Cons As with most things, a lower price point would be nice, but no real complaints! Having also attended some talks by their employees and seen how other companies implement their solutions, I was particularly impressed by the customizability to fit your brand and tone as well as the beautiful visual aspect that is available. Cons Within our needs, I have not experienced any roadblocks so have nothing to report at this time. I imagine when it comes to bigger teams this could be different and maybe better analytics when it comes to large comprehensive surveys. Pros Only thing I liked about this app and it's the reason I was trying to actually use it, is that it says it has surveys right inside of emails, so I was really motivated by that because I won't have to send people to a landing page to fill a survey, well it actually wasn't entirely like that, in fact you can only add 1 question of the survey via email and it still sends you to a landing page to fill the rest. Cons What I liked least following my previous answer is that I felt kinda cheated, I get it guys it is not posible to embeed a survey directly to the email you send, but that's the main reason I was trying to use Survey Monkey, I read somewhere it was posible to do that with you and it actually wasn't, idk if that was like a marketing thing to sell your product or something but when I used it only thing I did was loosing my time, and even if it has integrations with Zapier I couldn't achieve what I was trying to do because my contacts and my internal automated processes happens all inside Hubspot and options Zapier gives me with Survey Monkey are really limited aswell. The report for the survey can be access anytime even before the survey reach it maturity. Pros SurveyMonkey has a large option for the survey template that i can pick and choose it for our survey theme. It has more feature compared to our previous survey software. They also has suggestion for questions to be included on the survey form based on the survey objective and help us to ask more detailed question the the participant. Cons Some of the survey template is not mobile friendly as the survey layout is not correctly snap in place if participant open it from the classic mobile web browser and there are no way for us to fix it our-self. Pros Survey Monkey is a survey preparation tool which facilitates users to formulate and share any kind of survey suiting their specifications. For new users it has a ton of premade survey templates which are designed to suit specific requirements to help them get started. One of the features I prefer is the survey automatically closes after the requisite number of respondents is met or if the time limit is reached. It's the best survey preparation tool an organisation would ask for. Cons The free trial has very limited features which forces users to pay a huge amount for their paid version which comes with some of the basic features required for formulating a survey. Pros The ability to split our collectors to different data sources, and then analyse the feedback we had from our responses according to their collector, alongside cross-referencing them against each other. This let us bench-mark questions easily and segment results clearly in the final report. Cons The logic flow of questions was a tricky issue at times, and on the Pro Version was not quite as clear as it could have been - however, the micro control made up for the complexity. Pros The best think about SurveyMonkey was the ability to customize your questionnaire, edit it, re-arrange questions, and add logic to the same questions. I used a paid version and also appreciated the immediate descriptive statistics offered by the service. The mobile app version was pretty solid too, with enough features that you can use in your smartphone, and which allows you to keep track of the answers. Cons The user interface can definitely be improved. Pros It is very easy to use and our plan let's us customize certain aspects of the survey such as theme and colors to match our brand guidelines. The pre-built templates are also useful at times. They have a variety of question types to suit the genre of the survey. Cons The refresh is slow at times. The edit screen tends to hang. Other than that I am satisfied with what we are getting from this tool. Pros I like how it constantly updates your profile to keep surveys your invited to relevant. And keep you from doing some that you will be disqualified from. We are able to receive the results immediately and use the data to make better business decisions regarding our new and existing products. Pros I like that this service is free for the first thousand surveys that are sent out. Most of the time 1,000 surveyors will suffice, so this does a great job with reach. The format in which it is sent is very user friendly and easy to use; my grandparents did not even have a hard time submitting their surveys! Creating a survey and protecting it was also very easy and convenient. I definitely recommend it! Cons The least helpful aspect of the Software was that collaboration was limited to premium versions. Another headache that we ran into was that it was very expensive for additional features. it can also be frustrating when you run into the ceiling on their free offering (which is often).
