Pros We integrated SurveyMonkey with MailChimp and use it to manage all of our campaigns. Easy to use, efficient and takes the hassle out scheduling and maintaining big lists and data sets. The pricing plans are very reasonable if you're using it for business, but for a smaller scale. the free plan does the job incredibly well if you are smart about keeping surveys under 10 questions. It's a straightforward product that is easy to share with others and easy for potential survey-takers to understand. Cons There's not a lot that's wrong with Survey Monkey, my only concern would be the app (iOS in my case,) which is sometimes buggy and doesn't have the ease of functionality as the desktop version, but it's not a big problem as the desktop version should always be the "default" and the mobile one works better as a companion for checking in on things. Pros This product is very user-friendly. It makes getting responses to less than a few questions easy and free. Customizing the questions, tracking responses, and gathering data is fairly streamlined. Pros It notifies me when new surveys are available and it knows which surveys apply to me and it always gives me the amount of time I need to complete the survey without rushing me I think that is more important. This is a monthly activity mandatory for all Pros One of the best survey making software I have ever used, undoubtedly. SurveyMonkey is famous for a reason. Very easy to use. A friendly platform and a vivid outlook. SurveyMonkey has built in survey templates so if I need a survey on customer feedback or employee engagement, I only need to select the ready template and edit it with my company's name/logo etc. 5 minutes and your survey is ready! Personalization is very easy and as the dashboard is very friendly to use, anyone can edit the survey without any help. Customer support is even very good and you get replies within one business day as well. Cons The basic/free plan lacks the option to add your company's logo. This feedback is valuable to us as a company to review and move forward. Setting up the account and putting together the surveys has been a very simple process. The surveys are tailored and we can control what questions the customer is asked next based on the answer to specific questions. With both free and paid version available anyone can use it. Being able to export data to CSV is a great benefit. It is so easy to work with and creating the surveys is simple and quick. Then you get the results and it's a breeze to create reports with the data and analyze all the response information. This is definitely a great solution for survey needs. Pros Survey Monkey provides an easy and economical way to create surveys for just about any purpose. We used this tool not only to poll customers on a variety of topics, but also to survey our employees on employee issues and human resource topics. The free tool worked very well for our needs, and additional features are available for a fee. We were very pleased with the surveys we were able to produce, and found the software to be plenty robust for our purposes. Cons I really didn't have any complaints. It was very easy to use and straightforward to work with. Perhaps some might not like the fact that some features require paying, but I think the software is a great deal. Review Source Molly B. It's my second favourite. Pros It's got some great features, all sorts of kind of questions, a nice UI and great result analysis tools. Way better than Google Forms, as it's more customizable. The link for the poll is easy to create and share. Helps you capture the results of the surveymonkey in a document/pdf. Cons Participants have complained that the survey doesn’t register answers and have stop working in the middle of the survey but allowing them to answer all the questions or give them the ability to go back and take it again. Cons Honestly the only con I've really run into on the free plan is that you're limited to the number of questions you can ask BUT I do feel as though it's fair for them to limit something like this on the free plan. The part that I like the most about SurveyMonkey is that it organizes the collected data and allows us to save all data in the excel format so that we can analyze the data without additional work. I also like that this software can randamize the question order and answer order to eliminate bias and identify people who do not take questionnaires seriously. This software makes collecting the data of human subjects easier. Cons The frustrating part of this software is that it is hard for respondents to take surveys on the phone.
