Pros The best thing about SurveyMonkey is that it has a very basic design but at the same time, it supplements the comfort of the client, providing colors that in a certain perspective, benefits the client in the long term so that the stay does not become boring. Cons The detail that I do not like about SurveyMonkey is poor customer service, it takes approximately 48 hours to answer the customer's question and this is really annoying because the question is not answered immediately. A great to to increase classroom participation! Cons 1\. Some companies or organizations block the email invitations from SurveyMonkey. This is a problem as you do not want to dig out survey email from your spam box. 2. Unless you take the survey from direct link to the Surveymonkey, it's hard to trace the result. Pros Survey Monkey makes it easy to receive feedback from new hires about their experiences in the on boarding process. It’s user friendly, so we are more likely to get responses which can help us determine if we are on the right track for our hiring practices. Cons Unfortunately, emails from Survey Monkey almost always go into spam folders. Not sure this is anything to do with the program itself. It seems like everything goes to spam these days. However it’s important to pass that info along to whoever you are asking to take a survey. I like that it can be set to anonymous for the user. Cons I found that figuring out and formulating the right questions to give you the analysis you need took a little more thought and work to get right. It is also not intuitive to set up for a beginner. I found the subscription level useful because there are more customization options but not enough to make it worth it . I used this for a business that conducted a lot of of surveys, however at the price point it's important to evaluate if this is worth it! The most frustrating thing about this software is the customer service, rather the lack of customer service. They can take weeks to respond or don't respond at all. And the amound of data and the actions you're able to take on that data are mind-boggling, especially at the paid levels. The free level is perfectly sufficient for basic Q/A, survey/response type things, but the paid level sunlocks things like text answer analysis based on keywords and other spiffy features like that. Super neat! This tool saves me a lot of time doing research on potential project impact, pain points for end users, user satisfaction, etc. I'm sure I could be using it for more, but I'm not all that creative :) Cons It cannot force users to take the surveys. I literally have none! I was able to very easily setup my survey, send the link out, and analyzew the responses efficiently. I like that there are options to make surveys anonymous or not, as well as many ways to customize the layouts of the surveys. It's also nice that you can save past surveys to your account, so you can pick up where you left off rather than create future surveys from scratch. Cons It can be tricky to change the layout of the surveys at first using the options available, but it doesn't take too long to learn. By the third or fourth survey created, it becomes second nature.
