March 27, 2018 5.0 SurveyMonkey is a software that is designed to produce and innovate, currently in my company, there are many benefits it has brought, such as a better organization through surveys, a better connection with the consumer to know what they like and what they do not like. Pros There are several features that I get the attention of SurveyMonkey, but in spice, there is one that has definitely made me choose it, and it is the interface, it is a very clean interface, with good colors that improve comfort. Cons I have no complaints about SurveyMonkey, the truth is that this software has left me impacted with the excellent results and the measures it takes to innovate in the creation of surveys. It's so easy to use I haven't found a reason to leave it. Pros Everyone in my social and work circle know SurveyMonkey, they trust it. It's easy to create a survey and easy to fill one in. In particularly, I have always needed information that is not always available in online locations. This was a necessity and SurveyMonkey served me well. Cons To target the specific people I have needed for a few of my projects required a much larger investment than I have been able to afford. The functionality of creating the survey is extremely easy, and ease of viewing the survey reports is excellent. Cons This might seem like an odd "con" but if someone edits their survey responses, then the numeric placement of the survey changes. For example, if a respondent was the 5th person to complete the survey and then goes back and edits the survey, then the respondent's survey number changes. I will recommend it to other colleagues. Pros In my experience with Survey Monkey, I appreciate the service because it is simple to use and offers both free and paid programs. I use the free plans and they are fantastic; I still get enough value and it is simple to export data to other workspaces such as Google Sheets. Cons The least like feature is the fact that Survey Monkey offers few export options and may not be able to export data in all formats, as well as a limited number of question kinds. Being a former psychology and social work student I had to complete many research projects. Many of those projects required input from community members. There was no better way to gather this information then by using SurveyMonkey! The software is free (unless you chose to upgrade) and easy to use. You can send a link out, or post it to social media. It was a quick and easy way to obtain the data I need. I would definitely recommend SurveyMonkey to anyone needing to obtain information! Pros I love that Survey Monkey is free and easy to use. Cons What I like least about Survey Monkey is that the free option is a little too basic. Reason for choosing SurveyMonkey I chose SurveyMonkey over Doodle because I was familiar with it. It is easy to develop a survey from scratch and even easier to copy a previous template and customize as needed. The product is intuitive and straightforward, with many options for customization. Cons The built in reporting function is helpful if you only seek cursory level analysis. It would be very beneficial if the reporting was more robust and/or exported in a cleaner format. Once you've built the form, there are lots of other options available to gather additional information about the submitters. I also really like the way the results are compiled for easy understanding. Cons There are many limits to the free version of the software (eg. number of questions you can have and number of viewable responses). There are other completely free survey tools available without these restrictions. Out of all the software I have used and also been required to fill out, this has been the easiest. It is simple and straight to the point, with explanations on how to use it every step of the way. Additionally, because it is easy to use, individuals are more inclined to fill out surveys. Cons I have run into some random errors while using this software, but usually they were minor and I was able to fix them.
