It offers a variety of ways to share them, making it easier to accomplish your goals. Cons I'd change nothing, its simple and clean, great for anyone to understand. There is other free software out there that does the same thing and has more options for customization. SurveyMonkey isn't my go-to, but it's a fine choice. Pros SurveyMonkey is easy to use, has a free version that works well enough for most small projects, and offers more robust paid plans as well. Cons SurveyMonkey just isn't my favorite. I don't think it provides as easy an experience as other platforms I've tried, for either the person creating the survey, or the one filling it out. I don't like the "create your own survey" screen that shows up on the end of the survey for the person answering. It gets the job done, and it's not that difficult, it just doesn't seem to go out of its way to make it a fun or unique experience for anyone. Review Source AA Austin A. We use it survey for health benefits, training feedback, etc... and it works great. Pros The ease of use of the user to setup the polling/survey and how easy it is for end user to answer and submit. Pros I really appreciate how easy SurveyMonkey is to use. Whether I am the one answering the survey questions or the one setting up a Survey for people to take, it is so easy to do. I can edit it with just a few clicks and I can close out the survey quickly as well. It's a great way for me to gather information quickly. Cons I have not encountered anything about the software that I don not like. As with all software there are always minor glitches but I have never found anything I couldn't fix with a quick refresh. Since we added MS Teams, we no longer need internal surveys and that makes us only need Survey Monkey just a few times a year. We hope to start using it more to make the service for cost effective. Pros I think the ease of use and templates for when I'm unsure how to begin. I also like the versatility of presenting surveys: online, social, email, etc. Cons I was unable to remove the click to proceed button on a single back survey. I wanted the survey to be easy and flow well. The click to proceed function was a speed bump in the process. Reason for choosing SurveyMonkey My IT Dept approved the use. Pros I've only used the free version, but have found SurveyMonkey to be a reliable option for creating simple group polls. It's good if you want to give people a handful of items from which to choose, and then check the responses at the end. Cons The interface isn't anything great, and if you're using the free version, then there are certain features that aren't available to you. Feedback is very important for development. Also, you can collection opinions on important topics and use it whenever you need answers from many people about certain topic Pros it is very easy to use. If you need surveys, this is really easy to set up and put all the questions. It is very user-friendly for those creating the survey and for those filling them in. Cons Sometimes I prefer to see all the questions at once, but then it also makes you focus on one question at the time when you dont. So I dont see particular bad parts of this software. We've used SurveyMonkey to collect and share information regarding student needs for technology, support services and so on. We've also used this app to gain data among our staff. While I've mostly been on the receiving end of surveys and shared data, I have collaborated and noticed some neat features like getting notifications of survey responses and shares --which adds another layer of analysis on how wide a survey is spread, for instance. I've used this program on my iPad (iOS 12), Mac (Catalina), PC (Windows 10) Cons There are not really any cons. I've only used Survey Monkey and doodle for similar internal collaborations, and while both products provided some similar functionality, they are rather different --so I don't have much to compare. I'm absolutely positive that there are other products out there that are very similar, but I'd bet the cons will boil down more to interface and broadness of statistical information. " March 5, 2019 5.0 Overall, it’s a very helpful software. If you don’t already use this software, I would recommend you use it on trial basis and see for yourself. Pros It is very easy to use and share. Before I could start working on a project, I can give out a survey and collect all the relevant information. The software also makes it extremely easy to export data which is a wonderful feature. Cons Everything is great about this software, I couldn’t think of a weakness except that there is no way for the respondents to look back at their responses in the future. It's become the name in surveys for good reason and could just use some more excitement to really succeed. Pros Having mainly used SurveyMonkey for client surveys, I found it works pretty easily. You can set questions and answer requirements, then send it out to a list pretty quickly. This has allowed us to facilitate client requests faster than setting up a fully custom Q&A system. Really, simpler is better when it comes to the service that SurveyMonkey provides. Cons It's not the prettiest platform. It's very utility driven, which makes sense. But the ability to do more styling or customizations when needed could really elevate this platform. It's tough to really find cons as SurveyMonkey is a fairly straightforward service that could just use some more polish. Review Source Christine E. Initial set-up was easy and support has always been helpful. Pros Very easy to set up surveys. Most of the surveys I created were for schools to get feedback on activity from parents and local residents. They were not that sophisticated (e.g. no conditional logic) but did what we needed them to do. Support was also 24/7 which was helpful. Cons I did feel it was a little overpriced initially (we were on the Team Advantage) but we got our moneys worth the more we offered it to our clients. Pros I have used survey money for over year now. One of my friends show the software and how I could make some extra cash by doing surveys. I have made a lot of extra cash this year. Cons Sometimes I’ll will a get email telling me that I’m a great match for this survey. Then we I click on the link. It will tell that survey is full or I can’t take the survey without a desktop. Pros I like the amount of types of questions included, if you're creating a basic survey it's really easy and quick. Cons There's loads of features to use if you have a pro account. I've used Survey Monkey a number of times, mainly for post event feedback and you used to be able to download the results for free, now you have to have a pro account so any analysis needs to be done online. Helping by taking surveys that are donations to great causes such as Cancer Society, Fight Hunger, Humanitarian Relief. etc Pros I like the fact they send multiple surveys at a time and the fact it has a "Donation" option.
