Since my journal began using Survey Monkey, we have been able to collect more useful information from our readers, contributors, and fans about the content they'd like to see, the types of fundraisers they'd support, etc. This info has been valuable in helping us to shape our online presence and our magazine. It has also been instrumental in driving our fundraising success in the last few years. Cons I have no complaints. Survey Monkey very easy to use. The results of our surveys have been very helpful. Pros Easy to use, the UI looks clean and even if you're new you can understand what you're doing and explains the things you can do, works excellent if you have a Business and you need a good looking Poll, works perfect, you can use some templates even if you are a new user. May 2, 2018 4.0 I have benefited from SurveyMonkey because I have noticed that my company has emerged through a better path, improving each service, or each product thanks to the opinions we receive daily through this platform. Pros I like SurveyMonkey because I've noticed that it has a really comfortable interface, and customer support, it's quite nice, they take care of you in seconds and do not mind taking the time that is necessary to resolve the doubt. Cons I do not like that SurveyMonkey has such high prices, it is quite annoying to see how small entrepreneurs and even people who do not have the financial resources, have not been able to enjoy the features of SurveyMonkey. Pros I like that I am able to use many of the options with the "free" version. It is easy to access and share the surveys and knowledge checks that I make for my employees. Cons I wish I had access to more of the features and could collect more responses in the free version! I also have some trouble copying and pasting in the site. Create a survey in a matter of minutes and get informative insights from those who complete the survey. The system is well organized and analytics are easy to find and analyze. Cons Not as engaging user experience as some others on the market (TypeForm). Customers who fill out a lot of the same survey may be turned off by a lack of creativity SurveyMonkey offers. Its free plan is rather limited and a proper survey (with a large sample size) would require users to sign up. This is a disadvantage compared to alternatives such as Google or MS forms. We achieved what we wanted from it. Pros Survey Monkey is a great tool for taking opinion from a wider audience about various topics. I have used it in my project for rolling out a mobile app. Cons Hard to mention something which I least like about Survey Monkey. Pros After sending out emails to our customers asking for them to fill out an attached word file type survey and not getting many replies back at all, we decided to try SurveyMonkey. It was way more convenient for our customers to quickly fill out the form than it was for them to print, write and scan the document to email it back to us. I also love the report feature that showed us a percentage of who filled it out, what the average scores were for each question and had the ability to send a reminder to our customers asking them to please fill it out. We got way more feedback using SurveyMonkey! Cons The only "con" to SurveyMonkey was that the free trial didn't allow me to print out the forms we received back from the customer. More complicated surveys are sent out using a different software. I like how user friendly SurveyMonkey is and that I can quickly create and distribute surveys. I really like that their free version is sufficient for basic surveys. Pros This software is super user friendly. I don’t have much experience creating or analyzing surveys and I found this to be very intuitive. Their free version is sufficient for basic surveys. Cons The free option is sufficient, but limited. I wish a few more of the analytics were available within the free version. The analytics in the paid versions are nice, though. Review Source Clarissia S. Cons We are not happy with new plans and find them not as flexible. The team plan starts at 3 seats, which is $900 investment. Some teams in our company are 2 person team and it makes no sense to purchase a 3 person plan. We’ll browse new solutions when we have an opportunity to do so. The free version includes basic analytics which is great for the majority of use cases and needs. There isn't much out there that is as simple as this product. Cons I'd like to see additional capabilities offered in the free version, and/or in exchange for ads instead of a paid version. Review Source Jay M. It doesn't get any faster or easier than this! Pros With the ease of SurveyMonkey you can have a survey created and sent out in a matter of minutes. The interface is slick and intuitive and gives you everything you need to get surveys sent out and then mine all of the data as the responses come in. Cons While SurveyMonkey is great for simple surveys, it's definitely not Qulatrics. You can't do as complex and robust surveys as you could with other tools, but that's ok because SurveyMonkey is great at what it does.
