It is great for making basic surveys and very easy to use. My organization uses it for users who need basic surveys but we pay for a different survey tool when we need to create complex surveys. Pros I like SurveyMonkey because it is free to use. It has the basic features that you need to make a nice survey and send it out to quite a few people. Cons It cannot really be used for more complex surveys. It does not have a lot of complex features. Even if you pay to use SurveyMonkey, it does not have as many features as other survey tools have. It is pretty limited. SurveyMonkey has created a strong brand which really facilitated user trust and competition when setting surveys within and outside my organization. Cons While I mentioned branding as a pro above it would be also a bit of a weekness as survey customization looks does comes with a price and sometimes I would rather hide the branding a bit easier at the surveys end. You can share it with your friends over emails to view or edit. You can also choose over an individual plan or a team plan for the account. You can manage your surveys on phone too, get custom filter to create multiple views of your data. You can get instant results and also sort through the data to find what you're specifically looking for. Cons The plan pricing is a little expensive for a survey software. We'd like to try more features if we ever upgrade. Reporting and analysis once the survey is sent is very helpful and easy to follow. Pros The best way our business has found to send surveys out to our contacts is SurveyMonkey. We have been using it for major surveys for years. There are a lot of options and features that we use and they are great, including formatting and stylizing. Cons They have multiple levels of subscription, and to get the best features you need a high subscription option. Pros I have used this survey software for years. The ease of setup is excellent. The end user experience is excellent. This software is powerful and very flexible. You can create a very simple few question survey to a very detailed video integrated questionnaire survey. The functionality is vast. This software is powerful yet simplistic. Cons There is nothing that I do not like about this survey software from the point of creating a survey and taking a survey. I did not have to purchase this software - so I can not speak to the cost. After we got all completed questionnaires then we had to tabulate the information and analyse the data. I think now that we use it I take for granted how easy this software has made the process of gathering and quantifying information. I cannot do without it now Pros Survey Monkey has simplified the process of gathering Qualitative data from recipients for my Non governmental organisation . I easily design and organize the questions that we need to ask using their huge array of templates. Directing recipients to the questionnaire I found is a simple process and after all the questionnaires are completed the data can be analysed by there software Cons There is a bit of a learning curve in using the software but once you get the hang of it you realize how simple it is. The professional templates look great and they are customizable enough to suit most needs. The branching logic is good for most applications, but can be limiting if you are making an extremely complicated survey. Cons I don't have much bad to say about surveymonkey, but the seemingly ever present survey monkey branding could be slightly annoying to some. Also, users in the lower pay tiers have fewer options (question limits, survey limits ) but this is understandable within Surveymonkey's business model. If you need more, you need to pay more.
