Surveys come in all lengths and the format for completion is easily to follow and very user friendly. Even those that consider themselves technologically challenged will not find this easy to use. Pros The majority of surveys I complete for my companies use survey monkey. It is very user friendly, seems like it is relatively inexpensive, easy to design and allows employees to give feedback. Alot of times it is used to see if employees feel like we are working together as a team. Cons You do face some ads. When you are done it always wants you to use survey monkey for something too. It’s easy enough for quick surveys and works fine for collecting feedback. I use it mostly for simple forms and it does the job without too much trouble. There are a few things that take time to figure out, but once you get used to it, it’s smooth. It’s not perfect but it’s reliable and never really gave me any big issues. I used it extensively for customer feedback-type scenarios on a very regular basis and I never experienced frustration with the app. I still use it but not as regularly as I once did. It is one of the most intuitive tools I have ever used. There are also some cool data visualization options that I didn't use as much but are nice to have available. Pros SurveyMonkey is very easy to use and it has great flexibility. I really like that I can generate a survey very quickly or use it for something more elaborate if necessary. Specifically, I like the number of question formats that are either more difficult to create with other products or not available. Cons For some reason, I have had a hard time with download options. It's not hard. But I almost always select options incorrectly before I remember the settings for getting all the individual responses in a spreadsheet format. I don't now what the barrier is to me remembering that. User error, I'm sure. Granted, I was either utilizing the free and then the basic level, which was understandably limited. For a novice, this is an amazing resource, though it can become challenging if experience in modeling is low. Thus, you need both a higher-level paid solution as well as the knowledge (or perhaps support provided through the platform) to really build complex surveys that can generate accurate and deeply insightful results. The data you can collect is easily presented as well. Cons As far as we were able to tell, the WhiteLabel program within SurveyMonkey is not a true white label that matches brand identity. If this is a smaller organization, it does appear to be available on an enterprise plan, but those are costly. It is easy to use and as mentioned supports multi-lingual. We are able to send out surveys to help our board make decisions based on homeowner sentiment. Pros We have members whose native language is Spanish so it helps being able to create a multi-lingual survey. That is a big plus! Cons I created a trial account at a higher level, then when converted to paid, downgraded to a lower tier. I actually had to create a new account to do so. That seems a bit cumbersome.
