The AI pen test is amazing, saving us time and money. Reporting is very good, and the automated updates let us forget about them; it just works. The team's support is the best we have found; nothing is an issue. The setup and roll out was also straightforward. We were blown away with the platform and it's been our go-to ever since. Sadly we are about to stop using the product as our company has been acquiried by a large enterprise. However, it's worth noting that when we showed one of their IT security team what we were able to do in RoboShadow, he was incredibly impressed! Pros Incredible value for money. Provides us with complete vulnerability management monitoring and reporting for endpoints, servers and network. Platform set up in minutes and the vulnerability agent rolled out to our entire estate within a few hours. Incredible functionality which has helped us stay secure and prepare for all our IT security assessments. The team are constantly introducing new features and are always open to feedback. Cons There's nothing I don't like about RoboShadow. I'm only disappointed that it's not yet recognised as a tool for Cyber Essentials Plus. It has been an extremely useful tool towards this end. We have weekly scans run, good reports delivered automatically, and everyone is very happy with the product and how it supports a more mindful security posture / better patching behaviour / better peace of mind for 'proactive monitoring and response'. Highly recommended. The fact you get so many extras bundled is really icing on the cake. So far I have not tested most of them (alas) but will be doing so soon. Pros easy to setup, use, reports are very clear and helpful. automated scans run consistently and provide good concise overviews and then opportunity to drill down to get more detail. web admin interface is straightforward to use for setup/management of config additional value added features look incredible. It’s a thoughtfully designed tool that simplifies cybersecurity and system updates. Its features are practical and continuously improving. With a few additional enhancements and integrations, it could become an even more powerful part of our IT environment. Pros RoboShadow is user-friendly and feature-rich. The CyberHeal functionality brings multiple tools into a single dashboard, making everyday tasks much more efficient. We especially appreciate the Auto Fix Rules, which are easy to set up and apply changes instantly. The driver updates feature is also a big plus—updating with just one click saves time and hassle. RoboShadow is constantly improving, which shows real commitment from the development team. Cons One limitation is the inability to force-close applications during updates. For example, if a user leaves Chrome open, updates won’t go through, which can be frustrating. Additionally, we’d like the ability to exclude certain apps from Auto Fix and would love to see integrations with tools like NinjaRMM and CIPP. We’re already seeing a reduction in open vulnerabilities and higher confidence in our external exposure, a great outcome for the price point. Pros RoboShadow delivers enterprise‑grade vulnerability scanning in a refreshingly accessible and cost-effective package. The External Vulnerability Scanner helped identify risks quickly and gave fast visibility into open ports, unpatched systems, and weak configurations on systems that were managed by 3rd-parties. For a small team, that external lens was especially valuable. Cons The UI can be a bit busy, scan scheduling would be good as well, and reporting could be more flexible for different use-cases. I use other software for patch management and vulnerability identification (due to integration in my current processes), but none of them give me the human readable format that this does in a way I can give to my clients so that they can understand the trends and what I am actually doing for them. For my paying clients that want to know their stuff is actually being taken care of (not break/fix) this is the best visual representation and integrated vulnerability response package I have yet used. If you are supplying MSP services, this should be rolled into your stack. I have found that the Cyber Heal makes it so quick that it's worth paying for, however, it seems like the updates take a while to register and for the reports to show cleared. I figure that's probably due to how it ingests the information and the timing cycles... by the time I look again as part of my processes (not just fix and check) it's updated. Pros The reports are the super star around which everything else is a supporting cast. The Cyber Heal feature makes it easy to go from report to response quickly to address issues in the moment using integrated WinGet repositories (and allowing MSI and other updates). The vulnerability scanning is a must and with RoboForm, it breaks it down by device. With the external Penetration Testing (Pen Test) it checks for vulnerabilities at the gateway and with the website. It's affordable. Cons It took a minute to figure out how to set it up in a multi-tenant way. The AD Integration for micro SMBs took tweaking and didn't always work well... not that it gained much when it did. Pros It scans our network daily, both internally and externally, giving us a clear picture of any vulnerabilities. We always know where we stand with things like device weaknesses, antivirus status, and system updates. The Cyber Heal AutoFix feature is really awesome. It automates the fixing process, making it incredibly easy to update all our vulnerable devices with a few clicks. This has saved us a ton of time and significantly reduced our security risks. It really is a "one-click fix" that works. It is also really easy to use, the interface is straightforward, and it integrates well with our existing tools like Microsoft 365 and Windows Defender, making our security tasks much smoother. I highly recommend RobowShadow, try the free tier first to see the benefits for yourself. We approached all the usual providers but the quotes we received back weren't, ahem, tenable. Then we came upon Roboshadow that provides us the ability to measure, thus manage, our clients security profiles in ways we have never been able to before at a price point that makes it possible to incorporate the software in our standard contract price rather than delivering it as a paid for "extra". This is product is game changing for us as, for the first time, we have the ability to really measure and document the effect our automated systems are having so we can demonstrate to the client what we do. It has also highlighted areas where we can improve. It also has a patching tool incorporated in the product itself that is also very convenient. Pros Roboshadow has a short learning curve to produce usable results. This product is a great fit for small MSPs that need a tool that gives an overall measure of security of their clients. The agent itself is lightweight, and users do not notice its presence- no strain on resources at all! The CyberHeal feature makes light work of applying patches to vulnerabilities in the form of updates a breeze. The support has been excellent - issues are responded, typically within an hour or so and the team are receptive to development ideas. Cons The configuration of both WAN and LAN scans can be a pain, especially if you have a large number of networks.
