## What is Pitstop?

Pitstop is a cloud-based Predictive Maintenance Platform, enabling fleets to leverage the wealth of data and information available from their vehicles in order to cut costs, reduce downtime, and drive business value. Combining AI technology and ELD/GPS data, Pitstop predicts and communicates vehicle failures, the maintenance needs of vehicles, and vehicle-related data in real-time (i.e. battery voltage, fuel trims, diesel exhaust parameters, etc.). All the while, making your job easier.

We have been with Pitstop from their very beginning. This platform has allowed us to increase our uptime, make sound maintenance and repair decisions, and allows us to focus on the problem vehicles. Truly a great tool for our organization

Pros

This platform allows us to make educated decision on what needs immediate attention and what can wait for the next scheduled pm visit. The overall rating system allows us to quickly at a glance determine the status of our fleet and individual units.

Cons

One of the cons is that when you are using a 3rd party service provider for your maintenance, the repair data is not always available to Pitstop. Not necessarily a con on Pitstop's part but the systems dependence on outside data that is not typically within their control. This can be addressed by verbiage within maintenance/lease agreements.
