Whenever I need something IT-related, I take solace in the fact I don’t have to call, email, or complete a form. Instead, I can use ServiceNow to quickly make my request and easily track its progress from initiation to completion. It’s not flashy but it always gets the job done. From the user perspective, I would definitely recommend it to other businesses.

Pros

The best thing about ServiceNow is how it centralizes all IT requests. Whether I’m calling Help Desk, need help mapping a network drive, or requesting hardware, it all takes place on ServiceNow. As a user, having that kind of one-stop-shop is incredibly useful. I also appreciate how easy it is to track and add comments to my requests.

Cons

I’ve had no direct issues. ServiceNow has a very clear function and does its job well. I do believe that the way my organization set it up is more complex than it needs to be, but that’s more of a reflection of how the tool has been used rather than the tool itself.

Overall, my experience with ServiceNow has been good. It helps manage IT processes, assets, incidents, and workflows in an organized way. I find it useful for improving visibility, tracking tasks, and making day-to-day IT operations more efficient.

Pros

ServiceNow is easy to use and helps manage incidents, service requests, changes, and workflows in one place. I especially like the automation and reporting features, which make it easier to track work, monitor status, and improve overall process efficiency.

Cons

The main thing I like least about ServiceNow is that some advanced features can take time to learn and configure. The interface can also feel a little complex when handling large workflows or multiple modules.

My overall experience with ServiceNow has been positive because it provides a complete solution for managing IT services, automation, and business workflows. The platform helps teams improve efficiency by automating approvals, routing requests, and managing incidents in a structured way. Features like AI-powered assistance, virtual agents, and intelligent recommendations help reduce response times and improve user experience. The chat communication features are useful because employees can quickly submit requests and receive updates without needing to understand complex IT processes. ServiceNow also helps organizations maintain better security practices through access controls, monitoring, and detailed records. Regular patches and platform updates show that the product continues to evolve. While the learning curve and cost can be challenging, the long-term benefits in productivity, visibility, and process improvement make ServiceNow a valuable enterprise platform.

Pros

What I liked most about ServiceNow is how it brings many IT and business processes into one centralized platform. The workflow automation features are very powerful because they reduce repetitive manual tasks and help teams work more efficiently special for a strong bank as us. I especially like the AI capabilities, such as AI-assisted ticket categorization, knowledge recommendations, and automation suggestions that help employees resolve issues faster. The platform also provides strong reporting and dashboards, making it easier to understand service performance and identify areas for improvement. Security controls, role-based access, and audit tracking give confidence that sensitive business information is protected. The ability to customize workflows without heavy development effort is another strong advantage. ServiceNow continues to improve with regular updates, new features, and better automation tools that help organizations modernize their operations.

Cons

The biggest challenge with ServiceNow is that it can become complex and expensive, especially for smaller organizations. Setting up workflows, integrations, and custom modules often requires experienced administrators or developers. While the platform offers many features, the large number of options can make it overwhelming for new users. Some configurations require significant time and testing to make sure updates do not affect existing processes. Documentation is available, but sometimes finding the exact information needed can take time because of the size of the platform. Customer support quality can also depend on the support plan and the complexity of the issue. The user interface has improved over time, but some areas still feel less intuitive compared with newer cloud applications. More simplified setup options would make adoption easier.

Useful dashboard provides updates on outstanding IT issues reported and raised. Can add commentary and liaise on ongoing issues.

Pros

An easy to use technical service provider to log faults and issues. Can overview the progress and developments

Cons

Would be useful if regular email or notifications were pushed by the system to keep abreast of the outstanding IT issues.

My overall experience with ServiceNow has been great, we use it to report various internal issues and requests and it has proven to be a reliable tool for managing structured communication between different teams.

Pros

What i like most about ServiceNow is how it centralizes and manages communication between two or more parties inside the organization. All requests are tracked, assigned and resolved in a clear an transparent way.

Cons

What i like least about ServiceNow is its interface, it could be more modern and visually streamlined, a more updated UI would improve overall user experience.

Overall, my experience has been very positive, especially for streamlining business operations. ServiceNow does a great job of bringing everything—IT support, requests, workflows—into one centralized system, which makes tracking and managing tasks much more efficient.

Pros

Its ability to centralize and automate workflows—everything from IT support tickets to HR and operations—making processes faster, more organized, and easier to manage in one platform.

Cons

The biggest downside is the complexity and steep learning curve—it can take time to fully understand and configure. It’s also expensive, and customizing workflows often requires technical expertise or developers, which can slow things down for smaller teams

Pros

Streamlined method to submit, assign, and manage IT tickets. Allowed for quicker resolution of tickets than with in-house system.

Cons

Some employees report that it was not user-friendly, especially for non-IT professionals. For example, employees were asked if their issue was hardware or software, but some employees did not know how to answer.
