What is Communication API?

Communication API is a software suite developed by Vonage that includes voice, video, and SMS APIs for developers who specialize in communication platforms for e-learning, virtual technical assistance, and telemedicine appointments. Developers can use this software suite to build platforms in 8 languages on the Vonage Server SDK. "Click2call made easy"

Overall: The Voice API provided by Vonage is an excellent solution for a relatively small systems that needs to be implemented quickly. Their pay-as-you-go pricing is particularly beneficial for smaller companies. I've been using this for a few years without any issues.

Pros: With just a few API calls, you can have a highly advanced click-to-call system in place. It literally took only a few hours to set up from scratch.

Cons: API documentation is not the best I've seen, it requires some guessing here and there. However, it's not a deal breaker.

Alternatives Considered: Twilio
Reasons for Choosing Communication API: Simplicity was key. I was able to code and release a click-to-call feature within a few hours, while the Twilio API required a multi-step solution.
Switched From: CallFire
Reasons for Switching to Communication API: CallFire was not a reliable service, featuring a dated interface and legacy servers.

"Communication"

Overall: The user-friendly, adaptable, and convenient interface that Vonage offers is suitable for all users. I believe the vonage mobile phone application's user interface might also be improved. Overall, I endorse it to everyone.

Pros: Comparatively speaking, the messaging feature is just the finest.

Cons: Every time you minimise the screen, the dialer pop-up disappears.

"Decent API for sms and email communications"

Pros: It has a lot of features one can choose for based on specific use cases.

Cons: The user interface is really complex and is difficult to setup for beginners.

"VONAGE! Best Recommendation!"

Overall: We at iQuasar have been using Vonage now for more than 4 years and our experience with it has been very very satisfying and we have never faced a network issue with it in fact Vonage has always been the best service provider for us. Thanks!

Pros: Vonage is Very easy to use and make calls and send/receive messages. Vonage is perfect for our business (iQuasar) due to it's compatibility and they provide the best service for Calling and video calling as well. It quickly gets connected to the internet and provides many useful options. Thank you Vonage!

Cons: Vonage is always ready with the updates and new items and improving the overall user experience and call quality and there is always room for improvement.

"Good tool for Business Communications"

Overall: Very good

Pros: If you are working remote this is the best tool to make calls over internet, with clear audio

Cons: Sometimes the application take time to open

"Review for Vonage Communication API"

Overall: I like using vonage to make calls because it is very simple to use.

Pros: Ease of usage, Nice interface with ease of understanding. Quality is not bad with calls. It is good but not very much.

Cons: there are sometimes login issue and quality was not fair when their is some network fluctuation. Their are sometimes when call reports are varied like having less no of calls then actually number of calls. I like if developers include history in vonage for calls like finding if we called to that number previously or not. and also try to add if the sent text message received by the receiver or not. It will help us
