October 5, 2023 4.0 Since the beginning, it has been a problemless relationship with splashtop and the remote access options, and we appreciate the easy of use and management that it provides. Pros The group layout, how reliable it has been for us, the pricing, and how easy it is for end users to get onboard. Cons The streamer agent sometimes needs to be manually update because the auto update process is a bit slow, and it needs to have a user log in to update automatically. Pros \*Ease of deployment \*User friendly \*Portable business app (to remote from) \*Clear image quality/adjustable quality for different network conditions \*Inventory info and custom alerts!! \* Mobile app works really well Enterprise: \*Scripting and scheduled tasks \*Windows update patching \*Antivirus status/detection Cons \*only one unattended agent can be installed on a machine at a time as far as I know. Pros It has a great feature list, it's pricing is very competitive and it integrates with many other services. Cons Sometimes it's streamer service crashes or fails to open, requiring the user of the target machine to open the streamer window. This then restarts the service and allows a remote connection. Reason for choosing Splashtop Business We already used Splashtop for it's SOS product, so migrating over entirely was a no brainer. Switched from [LogMeIn](https://www.capterra.com/p/266957/LogMeIn/) LogMeIn pricing went through the roof. It also lacks many features. Pros We choose Splashtop for a number of reasons, we were looking for a alternative to LogmeIn. Splashtop was able to cover, unattended remote access, sharing access with our clients, File Transfer and above all cheaper. Cons We have been using Splashtop for a couple of years and so far have found nothing that causes us issues. It doesn't take much time and my employees can easily download and get right to work.
