Singlepoint offers a highly user-friendly interface that enables key personnel to easily review, edit, and create documentation for employees to follow. Its accessibility ensures that the right people can maintain and update content efficiently, supporting compliance and clarity across the organization. The Gauge Manager feature stands out as particularly intuitive, making it simple to navigate and manage performance metrics or documentation workflows with minimal training.

Pros

We utilise Singlepoint primarily for gauge management and document control, which significantly enhances our operational efficiency and compliance assurance. Gauge Management Singlepoint provides a centralised platform for managing all gauges across the site. It enables us to: Maintain full visibility of gauge status and location. Track calibration schedules accurately, ensuring timely servicing. Minimise the risk of using out-of-calibration equipment, supporting quality assurance. Document Control The system ensures robust control over documentation by: Delivering only the latest approved versions to employees, eliminating access to drafts or outdated revisions. Supporting version control and audit trails, which are essential for regulatory compliance. Enhancing consistency and reducing the likelihood of errors due to outdated information.

Cons

I don’t really have any points that I like least about Singlepoint, it meets my expectations and supports my work effectively, with no notable issues or concerns to report.

The team behind the solution consistently provides excellent service. Our long-standing relationship will continue to thrive as we further invest in the additional modules they offer.

Pros

In addition to a robust Document Management solution, they offer complementary modules such as Issue Manager, Calibration Manager, Risk Management and more, which integrate seamlessly into their overall solution.

Cons

Support can be both a strength and a challenge. While it is often on point, there have been several occasions where we've had to follow up on raised support tickets. Although these are usually minor issues, it can still be disappointing.

The software will continue to develop with our needs in the future but we are really happy with where we are at the moment – implementing the software helped us in getting strengthening our compliance relevant records in a form which allows easy access to them for audits.

Pros

Singlepoint is fully customizable and has allowed us to adapt each module to our exact needs.

Cons

The flipside of the customization opportunities is that it does require in-house effort and competency to be able to clearly define needs and expectations so that the Singlepoint team can work towards these. The effort will be worth in the end though!

We were looking for an alternative to using MSAccess (which does not scale well and has restrictions and data corruption issues). Singlepoint is based on an SQL based backend + powerful front-end system that incorporates a drag and drop interface in many areas, reducing the possibility of errors and speeding up development. The ability to create interactive dashboards and menus gives databases a more professional and up-to-date look. Report creation is comprehensive (if sometimes a little daunting, given that interfaces for the different parts of the software are very different). Whilst it has some rough edges, Singlepoint is nevertheless a very flexible and useful software package, that I hope will get better and better over time.

Pros

I like the flexibility of being able to create modules for very different business processes (from Stores stock requisitioning, to Quality Assurance, Despatch label systems). The low cost and technical support are big factors I like as well. As the software is browser based, that means no need to install / run software on users machines.

Cons

Whilst ODBC connectivity to external sources is available, sometimes it's necessary to be able to pull in data and store internally. I'd prefer itif Singlepoint had a more comprehensive means of being able to import data directly (on a regular basis) without the need to rely on MSM Studio to do it. The lack of being able to right click and copy data from fields in dashboard grids is annoying, and would be very useful for pasting to other software (Redthorn, Excel etc). The different aspects of the software have very different interfaces, which can be confusing until you get used to it.

Flexibility, scalability and usability. We needed to have different users all accessing the same data at the same time.

The team behind SinglePoint have been excellent. They really know their product and its capabilities and have been able to translate our requirements into a tool that is really helping our business. We are already discussing plans for additional development.

Pros

The flexibility of SinglePoint has allowed us to develop a bespoke module to support the specific needs of the business. There is no bloatware or the unused features that you might find in a COTS product.

Cons

There haven't been any downsides to date.

Easy to work with the team. They understand real life and also the issues end users face daily They are not just out to make money they also want to help their customers achieve what they want

Pros

Flexibility and versatility of the system. All areas are intuitive and logical. The Singlepoint team are passionate and knowledgeable about their product and justifiably so. Love working with them.

Cons

So far nothing. We should have bought it years ago

Absolutely fantastic team , as said above , nothing is too much trouble , they gain an understanding of what you want sometimes from not even explaining very well what you want , they are able to leverage of previous work they have created for other customers and apply it /modify it to suit your business also making suggestions of things that may work well for you that you hadn't already thought of . Without even having my "primary project" fully off the ground yet , we have already started another one with single point as I'm confident they can deliver what i need and help me along the way !

Pros

Without having the software in practice and in use by multiple users yet , i cannot honestly review the workability of what we have created thus far I'm sure there will be tweaks to come, that being said , what we have created is exactly what I've asked for , no "expense spared" so to speak. Nothing has been too much trouble by the people managing my account and my expectations , absolutely would recommend to anyone !

Cons

There is a couple of minor inconvenient bug fixes that need to ironed out which were already known by the team e.g having to fill a field that doesn't need to be filled , however this does not discredit anything the software can do , its just one of those things that gets improved with development and input from customers.

Well matched to our business. Support is responsive to suggestions from users to enhance features.

Pros

Its features align very well with our management system requirements. It is flexible and adaptable to grow as our needs develop. It can be supported either in-house or by Syncronology.

Cons

One or two clunky areas but those are becoming fewer with product development

Reasons for choosing Singlepoint

It best suited our needs for CAPA at the time, and had possibility to grow through deployment of more modules bit by bit (which happened).
