Pros I’ve used a lot of strategy and innovation tools over the years, and Growth Forge stands out in multiple ways. Instead of trying to spit out a polished “plan,” it actually helps you think. It pushes you to be clear about your assumptions, the choices you’re making, and what would have to be true for an idea to work. That alone is incredibly valuable - and honestly where most teams struggle. The tools are practical and well thought out. You can move from early ideas to real experiments, while keeping track of what you’re learning along the way. I also appreciated how it handles uncertainty - through modeling and scenarios - so you’re guided to make informed bets. What I found most useful is that it acts like a living dashboard for innovation. It connects strategy, metrics, and execution in one place, so you can actually see progress and make decisions as things evolve. I work in an environment where people like shiny objects. I also think that people believe innovation is magic created by one very creative person. This tool has been critical to helping people understand the real work that needs to be done in innovation, and it has been helpful on more one occasion to support arguments I'm trying to make regarding either the need to double down on an idea or to let something go. Pros The first time I saw Growth Forge I was eager to get to work with it. Having struggled to find something that would help me to do incubation work effectively, I was enthused that the creators had put this together for use for someone like me who was not trained in business but was tasked with model incubation. I think that the way in which the materials are laid out to help guide someone through the design of a real project are better than many of the other innovation sets that have been put out before. This was the most practical tool that I have ever found to support someone who is doing product development. Cons As a new technology, it has a few bugs here and there, but I found the developers to be open to feedback and able to make immediate changes. Cons A bit challenging to learn. Requires domain knowledge for business innovation and financial modeling for optimum success.
