"Alias for your three-dimensional needs?"

Overall: If you own a business that regularly needs high-level of 3D products showcased or maybe produce them then I would suggest you go for it. I have had a great experience using Alias and will continue to do so.

Pros: I use Alias for my 3D workflow for projects that require a 2D to 3D transformation. It includes making the designs in 3D and visualizing them in an environment that helps my client or team understand the product/design. One of the best features in my opinion is the class-A surfacing in Alias which give a crisp understanding of the product surfaces. It does take some time to learn but there are hundreds of tutorials on Youtube that can help you learn it in no time.

Cons: I feel like the user interface although very clear and easy to understand, Needs an update to match the newer UIs from the current software in the market. Another thing would be the pricing which makes it very difficult for beginners to get into using the software unless they have a large source of income to support an expense like this.

Reasons for Switching to Alias: I wanted to try software that focuses on the surfaces more.
