Pros Arnold is one of the most user-friendly renderers for new users and especially those that render while still in the design process, because you do not need to apply several settings in order to try the first shots. It let our creativity flow during our project developments. Cons It can be lag sometimes depending on the magnitude of the project, which you can easily manage if you have high level hardware. The quality is very good and it gives realistic renders. And one of the best thing about is it is CPU based renderer, so even if you don't have a high end GPU, you can still use it. Cons The rendering time is slow as it uses CPU. The functionality or comparability is not that great as it works best only with 3ds max. Pros Arnold is very fast and responsive when rendering. I like that it supports real time rendering and ambient occlusion and that it also supports all different kinds of GPUs and also that it is user friendly.
