RA Health, Wellness and Fitness ### "Popular CFD that gives fast result" 5.0 Overall Rating 5.0 5.0 Ease of Use 3.0 3.0 Features 5.0 5.0 Customer Service 0.0 0.0 Likelihood to Recommend 10/10 October 10, 2024 I recently used Autodesk CFD to simulate what happens when we put aqueous solution with colloidal particles in it in a vortex and it was intuitive and the result didn't take as much time as I expected. I think Audodesk CFD is one of the best tools for computational fluid dynamics and I highly recommend it for everyone. Pros I like how fast it is and how accurate it is. Generally accurate simulations take a lot of time but with Autodesk CFD, it takes comparatively less time. Another pros about Autodesk CFD is it's popularity. Due to its popularity, a lot of people know how to work with it thus if we use it, we can expect others to be able to use our work. Cons I really can't come up with any cons of Audodesk CFD as it has been handling my requirements just fine. Among many CFD software, I think Autodesk has one of the best. I definitely recommend it, but would suggest generation the mesh on a different software, then import it. Pros Autodesk is a very reliable tool for CFD simulations. It handles all the steps of a successful simulation starting from geometry and meshing to case setup and post-processing. The solver supports a wide variety of equations and methods for flow simulation. In additions, it has a nice user-interface which is very important for beginners learning to use the software and learning CFD in general. Cons There are not a lot to dislike about Autodesk CFD, but one of the things I don't really like is the limited meshing capabilities found in other CFD software. Also, the solver lacks some user customization which would be very helpful for advanced CFD users that need this feature for research and model development.
