"A platform that gets nonprofits"

**Overall:** Been a game-changer for me. Collecting money used to me a huge headache (tracking funds, reimbursements, reports etc.) and now it happens in a few clicks. I appreciate this platform

**Pros:** Crowded made collecting and spending money easy. It's nice to see everything all in one place (banking/payments/report) so you don't need to juggle spreadsheets or chase down receipts. The setup was straightforward and their support team is always super quick to help. I'm sure the founder has a background in non-profits by the way it was built.

**Cons:** It took me a bit to get used to how the sub-accounts and permissions work, but once I figured it out it was easy.

"What started off promising has become a waste of time. "

**Overall:** What started off as a good company for a nonprofit has become a nightmare. The service has some great features and I wish I can say they outweigh the issues with the operations of the company but they don't. Messing with a non-profits money, not knowing how to handle fraud and double billing the nonprofit all while taking a week or more to resolve each makes it not worth the time of our origination. Paying processing fees though a local bank where we get same day resolution for issues like fraud and more is worth not having to spend days teaching a banking tech company how to do their job. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. The fact they are wanting customers to pay $65 per month for "Pro" Plan is ridiculous. There are other companies you can link to an actual bank and get the same services for free. plus their "Priority 24/7 customer service" is with a company they must contract with who really can't help. They always say they have past it onto the team and then you hear back once a day until they figure out what to do to help. We had both the essential (free) plan and the paid pro plan but saw no difference in service. To top it all off you will never be able to talk to anyone. Our account with Crowded is remaining open while we make sure all fundraising companies have our new banking information and then it will be closed.

**Pros:** Great tools for fundraising and easy to understand set up. We really liked the option of digital cards and per-diem card.

**Cons:** Customer service is ridiculous. We had fraudulent charges and they didn't know how to handle them. We had to talk to Visa, the charter bank and then Crowded again to explain what they needed to do. It still took over a week. They gave us free access to the $65 per month Pro plan which includes 24/7 support. We had an issue and it still took a week to resolve. You are can NEVER talk to anyone. Email only and whoever they hired to run the email is not who actually helps you fix the issues you may have so you get an email a day, if you're lucky, even if you reply right away to them about a question. They also froze our account for an unpaid invoice that they never sent. It was a net 30 charge and our accounting never got the invoice. To top it off, we could only pay the invoice with our account which was frozen. We had to explain to them that we are unable to pay with a frozen account. Once they unfroze the account and we were able to pay what we were told we owed (still did not get an invoice after asking 10 times over a week timeframe), they left the account alone. 5 day after that they finally send the invoice but then "auto charge" us for the same invoice. Problem after problem
