Pros The ease of use and how much time its saved my department in end of month reconciliations. The AI features are really helping to automate tasks. Cons There is noting I do not like about Budgetly at all. It has saved me so much time and resources. I love everything about it. Pros The product has made it far easier and more scalable to manage personnel expenses, especially with temporary cards, limit changes and a combined pool to manage between the team allowing swift access when needed opposed to waiting for bank transfers. Cons I would like the app to have more of the administrator features of the web portal, allowing for greater flexibility with requests on the go. Phone support is all free but it's easy to use and figure out. I can bulk action literally anything in the new transaction interface. Literally saves me hours on a Friday afternoon. Pros I don't have to chase receipts anymore. I can issue cards in about 10 seconds. I can foward 20 bills from my email and it auto extracts and pays them. My contractors can only spend money when i say they should be able to. The benefits are endless. Cons I want more AI and they're building more and more by the day. Their bookkeeper agent sounds like a huge step into the future. We also have more security now with our spend. Pros It's saved us a lot of time. Money is now being spent where and when it is meant to be spent. It's all tracked automatically for us now. Time savings are huge, receipt collection is no longer a weekly stress Cons Not much. The support has been really helpful so we don't really have to figure it out on our own. It would be even more useful if we had more BAS automation. Our biggest challenge was issuing cards, lack of live visibility and missing transaction receipts. Being a small business, it resulted in huge impacts with extra staff workload when delays occurred. Budgetly's sorted all of this. Pros Budgetly is easy to use and easy to upload receipts. Working with both Apple and Android was important to us. Price was very competitive. Budgetly provides the ability to code transactions, capture receipts and provides visibility on the go as well as greater flexibility with the card issuing to users. Virtual cards are instant and can be issued without delay or having to deal with a bank. Cons Would be good if the GST extraction was available on all plans. Pros Budgetly’s saved us at least 5-6 hours a week as we’re no longer chasing invoices/receipts or doing unnecessary admin. Everything’s now real-time, we get instant money requests etc. The accessibility and flexibility is amazing. Cons Would love to be able to split transactions across categories/tags. Reason for choosing Budgetly I used to work for another company that was using Budgetly. Knowing what it was capable of, I knew it would make things a lot easier. Being able to upload receipts directly into Budgetly has also been amazing as it’s easier to reconcile our transactions. Cons Looking forward to being able to use SSO to log in. Since moving to Budgetly, we've saved 5-10 hours per week across the business with smoother processes in place for all frontend staff using the cards as well as backend staff who had previously worked on reconciling receipts etc. Through being able to track spending across the business, we've significantly reduced overspending in our SIL houses and are now able to better incorporate budgets etc into our strategic planning for our business. Pros User-friendly platform with functionality that allows us to create what we need in existing systems. If I send an email, I always get a follow-up call and help whenever I need it. Pros Budgetly has completely taken cash out of the equation. It’s given our staff more control, they’re no longer anxious about having to carry a lot of cash and don’t need to worry about rationing this out for an entire month. The fluidity of changing budgets instantly is amazing. Our staff are so much more confident to use their funds which is excellent for the business. We can now also track exact costs per business unit, which has made a massive difference in the back end. Cons It would be great to have a pin on virtual cards for larger transactions. Reason for choosing Budgetly When I initally reached out for some more information, I got an immediate and friendly response. I had plenty of help along the way from Budgetly as we had to get a few approvals before proceeding, but it was a good feel and definitely the right fit for us. Pros Having multiple cards now means we can operate in multiple places at the same time without these time delays and had to manually process receipts etc. This is now a lot more efficient and saves us between 1-2 hours each and every day. We get instant access to transactions in the portal, massive time savings and it’s very reasonably priced. Having multiple cards on one account is very handy when there are multiple people out on the road. Being able to top up budgets straight away is perfect as we can get funds to staff when they need it. Budgetly is also really secure and we’re not worried about our funds going missing as the risk of getting scammed etc is a lot lower. With significantly better spend-control, staff no longer have access to unlimited spending and we’ve seen a reduction in general spending of roughly 40-50%. Cons We've been using Budgetly with a few of our other clients and at the moment, it's doing everything we need it to do. November 15, 2022 5.0 The biggest win we've had with Budgetly is the time savings in not having to chase receipts. We've got full control over our staff's spending and Budgetly has allowed us to put some responsibility back on our staff without losing any visibility over the process. Pros If we were still chasing receipts and using normal credit cards, we’d be incredibly time-poor. We already working long days to get through our normal workload, so this has meant we can focus our time on more important things within the business. The customer service and support we've had has been 10/10 from the very beginning and hasn't stopped since. Cons It was initially a little slow getting things up and running across multiple locations, however this has eased and our staff love it.
