Definitely recommend them! Pros Budgetly's saved us at least 5 ours a week which in turn, reduces expenses for bookkeepers etc. It's now a lot easier to be compliant with the ATO/ASIC around receipts and the integration with Xero allows us to easily align our accounting with our transactions, as well. We also had a time-consuming reconciliation process. Now with Budgetly we can see purchases made and print transactions and the risk of issuing cash has been removed. Pros Budgetly was the only company that offered cards that weren’t required to be allocated to a particular person's name which suited us as we needed the cards to be issued in house/location names. Very good customer service. Cons There aren't really any cons I can think of at the moment, doing everything we need it to do. Budgetly 100% solved our initial problems, no complaints at all. Budgetly has saved us at least 15 hours a week. Pros If we didn’t come to Budgetly, we would have had to hire another admin staff to manage the process. We can now generate reports with the click of a button. We can easily change these and provide virtual cards where needed which has solved the problems I had around flexibility. I have saved at least a couple of days a month in admin with with Budgetly. Pros Great flexibility, I loved being able to turn virtual cards on and off at the click of a button - A lot easier than dealing with debit cards. We can top-up quickly and know exactly what’s going on - It’s a set-and-forget now instead of a daily chore. Receipts are also great, it’s a lot easier! The training provided by Budgetly was thorough and informative; the setup process was also very prompt and straightforward. The Budgetly team have been communicative and friendly throughout onboarding and following up to see whether we have any issues/concerns. Overall we've had a great experience using Budgetly! Pros The entire Budgetly program is very straightforward and easy to get the hang of. The software is user-friendly and logical, particularly the phone app. We were able to get the cards up and running successfully after one short session with our staff. Everyone is comfortable using the app and love being able to use the card on their phone. Cons There could potentially be an option for admin users to receive a notification if a card declines. The only other issue we had was that the Budgetly cards don't scan into your digital wallet, you have to enter the numbers manually. This wasn't a major inconvenience, but it's probably the only one I can think of! Pros Being able to upload receipts at the time of purchase is massive for us. Also being able to automatically assign categories with the Xero integration is amazing. 10/10 customer service, especially during the initial onbarding while we got used to the system. They are so helpful. You can tell they really put a lot of time and effort into their customer service. Phone calls, custom help videos and email support have all been quick and didn't cost any extra. Pros Having a solution such as budgetly has meant that we are not scrambling to get credit cards for new team members and have the ability to manage travel, expos, customer outings with ease. Everything is reconciled quickly and saves us from chasing team members receipts because we utilise the app and capture them on the go. Cons None that we've discovered so far. Been a happy customer since November 2021. Reason for choosing Budgetly We came from credit cards from the bank. We've got rid of them all now for Budgetly. Field Technician Defense & Space Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Easy to use budget management tool" March 19, 2023 4.0 I have had a few minor issues with the App so far - declined card (which seemed to be a problem for a large proportion of their clients at the time) which happened at the most inopportune time. My phone app showed that I was not affiliated with any accounts (subsequently having access to no money to draw upon). Both my account managers and the help desk showed that I was. Help desk was prompt in helping with the problem. Pros The program is easy to set up and commence using. Users are allocated specific budgets that they can draw from. Changing between them prior to making purchases is easy. Being able to upload photos of the receipts for accounting purposes is great - all too easy to lose or damage paper copies when on the road. Cons The notification for uploading receipts immediately after making a purchase has lost the link to the phone camera letting you complete the action from the reminder notice, instead having to use the main app itself. Without manually reconciling receipts etc., we're definitely ahead cost-wise. Their customer service is very good! We don’t necessarily need too much support but it’s great to know it’s there if/when we do. Pros We’re currently operating with one card per participant which provides a bit more independence. Budgetly has definitely helped solve our initial problems, and we continue to get a better rate of receipts being uploaded. Being able to freeze cards directly from the app has also been really helpful. With the Xero integration, we're now saving a lot of time. We swapped from a bank card and havent looked back. Pros The interface is very user friendly. It is easy and quick to use and integrates very well with our Xero reporting.
