software is just OK, serves most of our purposes but feels very dated and lots of frustrations with it, support people are generally excellent

Pros

Online tech support is very good, but frustrating that phone support isnt as accessible as it used to be.

Cons

Bugs that never get fixed, system failings that don't get addressed, lots of aspects of the system that never get improved so its very time consuming to use.

### "A useful system with flexible option to meet individual need"

Good, have been happy to use and would use again. Add on costs might be prohibitive

Pros

I was able to learn how to use it fairly quickly, there was a good level of support

Cons

Sending emails has been problematic, we must cut and paste emails for records as we don't use the emails in PPS. Uploading data sets has always been a bit clunky but resolvable

There is a solution that will remove the need for you to copy and paste your emails that our support team can assist you with by simply swapping our default SMTP details with your own. Making this change would mean all outgoing emails from PPS can be seen in your email client's sent box, this might make it easier for you to use the built-in email facility and save you a few extra steps.

Outstanding - mainly because Rushcliffe our provider has excellent backup support and always there if I need them.

Pros

Ease of use. Makes every day admin tasks simple and quick. All patient records held in one place, no need for any paper in the practice. Accounting made easy and simple to keep a track of outstanding accounts. Setting up of email templates is a breeze - I could go on.

Cons

The only con I have is that the online patient registration form is not easy for the patient to complete - far more complicated that it needs to be in particular the drop down dates for date of birth is hard to get.

Overall it is positive. We have had issues in the past but happy to remain a loyal customer!

Pros

Familiarity. We are using the systems since 2006.

Cons

It is not very intuitive. I have trialled other systems which are much easier to use. To set up something new on PPS therecare a lot of steps back and forth through Tools. I generally need to ask support as I then to forget.

Highly recommend for ease of use and reliability. Customer service is outstanding.

Pros

The customer service is outstanding. No matter what you need help with big or small the team are always on hand and quick to respond. We have been with PPS for over 20 years and honestly would not change. We very rarely have any problems its an great product and easy to use.

Cons

Everything is at your finger tips. From Patient history to booking appointments it is all very user friendly.

The sales team and the advice they provided. I cant remember the gentleman's name who helped us but he was fantastic.

Very good, cost effective practice management software. A real game changer!

Pros

Has greatly improved the efficiency of our practice with online booking and mobile access so made it much easy to manage bookings even away from work. Appointment reminders have greatly reduced forgotten or missed appointments too. Easy to block out times.

Cons

Cost jumps quite quickly if adding more than one practitioner. Can sometimes seem to log out without realizing so just circles on booking screen. Then have to manually log out and log back in

### "Expensive and customer service not focussed on the client"

Overall poor. When it works it’s pretty mediocre and reporting is clunky and not user friendly

Pros

Provided a solution to practice management

Cons

When the system goes down you cannot speak to anyone as they all work remotely and there is no urgency in the email support meaning you can be locked out of the system for prolonged periods and then no one gets you’re still paying for not being able to use the service and you are losing business and incurring extra costs

If we do experience any kind of unavailability of our services, this is communicated as soon as we are aware of any issues via our status page, all subsequent updates are then also communicated via this page. We have found this to be the most effective method of contact with our clients under these circumstances with a user base of just shy of 20 thousand practitioners. In order to offer the highest level of availability, our support team are available via live chat, email and telephone, the latter typically being via clients requesting a callback. This is a change to how we had worked prior to the pandemic and we have had such positive feedback and an upturn in customer satisfaction that we decided to adopt this approach long-term. We are constantly striving to improve our products and services and so we value your feedback, if you would like to elaborate on any improvements that you think could be made to our reporting system or any other aspect of PPS, please do get in touch.

Overall, PPS has been a very positive experience for us. It has provided us with a platform across the business to gain visibility of our operations, manage our data securely and facilitate day to day tasks. The flexibility of the product has enabled us to tailor everything to suit the business and provide the information that we need.The team at PPS have given great support when needed and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend PPS to another business.

Pros

PPS has enabled us to move from being a paper based organisation to a hosted online system, giving the business resilience and the infrastructure needed to expand.The system is flexible and customisable to meet most needs. Moreover, you are able to make amendments and changes to the formats yourself without having to pay for external support.You can also report on anything you can think of! If the data is in the system, you will be able to create a report to show what you want to know.

Cons

Whilst the diary management and clinical side is very comprehensive, PPS is not an accounting system, therefore there are a few weaknesses in the financials within the system to be aware of (eg. Any credits do not show up on your debtors reports)

### "Small Podiatry practice review"

Since they have solved the server issues they had a few years ago the system seems to be very smooth running and we dont have any system failures like we use to.Difficult to contact to discuss any problems as no central phone number they all work from home?

Pros

Easy to use the essentials like client records, consultation notes and the appointment diary

Cons

seems difficult / complicated way to scan and save to PPS share any paper work to upload to recordsExpensive to have other users added to the accountChanging any existing forms is hard to do as it then makes existing records difficult to access

I cant remember. If looking again now I would probably go for a cheaper company

I generally think that PPS covers most if not all of our needs and is user friendly. New members of staff sometimes can take a long time to get to grips with everything but the support staff are excellent.

Pros

The diary and appointments function are great and easy to use, but I particularly like that we can use PPS for everything we need from invoicing to client contact to marketing.

Cons

Sometimes due to pop up information boxes, it takes a longer time than I would like to complete a simple task.

Can’t find patients unless know the surname.

Excellent! The team at \[sensitive content hidden\] has always been incredibly helpful and supportive of the unique environment we work in with a sports event. They provide a solution for managing notes at an event and also customising it to suit our various Therapist's needs/wants

Pros

Ease of access on PPS Express from mobile phone without need for WiFi signal which is essential for sports events where internet may not be available. Customised forms which PPS Support provided for us to enable team members to use their preferred assessment tool.

Cons

Can be clunky at times to get to what you want.
