I dread any time I have a record to add. Pros I don't like anything about it. There is nothing good at all. Maybe if you are a manager or corporate officer that only has to use it to look at a report.. it might be good for that. I'm truly not sure. This is not a friendly tool for anyone that actually has to enter the data. Cons It is so slow and clunky. The lag between entries is 10-30 seconds. When you have to enter dozens of lines for multiple employees, this software is a major inefficiency. It crashes. It auto drops PDF files all over my desktop (that I don't want.) Even my IT looked at it and they said there's nothing wrong with it. It's just an awful program and they aid the other compliance people at the other facilities all have the same frustrations. Switched from [Microsoft Excel](https://www.capterra.com/p/176574/Excel/) Our corporate compliance officer forced us to use Train Track. We used to just use an Excel spread sheet and it was awesome. Support is very responsive and they always have a solution. I work with a lot of software vendors and this company is one of the best to work with. They care about the success of the customer. Pros We use it primarily to track training for out physical facilities employees. Many of their jobs require so many hours of training to meet their job certification and OSHA guidelines. We chose Train Track because it allowed us to record 1.5 hours of training for a course as an example and this is critical for those outside audits we receiving when certifications are required. Cons Most have our cons have turned into features offered in the software. So, no cons at this moment. Reasons for choosing TRAIN TRACK Cost, ease of use and we required the need to track specific hours and minutes of training. Pros Integrated solutions to training schedule, tracking, and employee history. Data extraction and export excellent tools to use in HRIS and employee development. Very few software issues over the years. Cons The only item is tailored reports which at times seems to produce inaccurate reports. Reasons for choosing TRAIN TRACK Price and customer needs. I been using Train Track for almost 10 years now and now that I'm starting at a new company we are implanting the same software so I'm excited to introduce Morrison to Train Track. Pros I love the software because it is user friendly and we are able to track everything through one system. The version we use is also customized so we are able to meet client requirements by being able to export into client driven databases. Cons I can honestly say I do not have any negative feedback regarding this software. Official and her team are wonderful with meeting all expectations.
