Pros Used this at a conference I went to recently. The app was fairly easy to navigate as soon as you got going. You can flag interesting events and make an agenda. Cons Getting the software setup for the conference I was app was difficult to say the least. Multiple attempts, strange errors, but I eventually got it. Review Source TW Tessa W. January 12, 2017 5.0 We started using Cvent after moving away from the cumbersome, time consuming and costly method of registration via mail/email, etc... There was an initial learning curve, but the staff at Cvent are the most helpful i have come across. They are eager to help however they can so you can maximize what Cvent can do for your event. They are not hesitant to schedule a conference/video call to clarify any questions or walk you through a setup. They are fast at replying and i always have 1, or multiple (depends on what product i'm using - Registration software vs. Crowd Compass), dedicated associates with our account so i am not wasting time with 'back story' for every new representative i speak with. There really are not enough great things i can say about Cvent... in today's society, all too often i deal with call centres, or even email only, but Cvent has kept the customer at the centre of their business, and built it around OUR needs.... Pros We use, CrowdCompass for our Mobile App. It is wonderful and easy to to put together. Pros My company uses Cvent Event Management for the conference apps we create. I do the designs for the app and I think how straight forward the directions are. Their customer service is excellent and the functionality is great! Pros This registration system is the only one of it's kind. It has solved many problems for us that we could not solve in other programs. Lot's of customization options and great reporting features. " January 16, 2018 4.0 Pros This software is great for checking in and attendee tracking. We use it for our smaller annual meetings where we need to know when specific people check-in/arrive. It is able to send me an alter via text or email that lets me know that the specific person has checked-in. Great feature and helps with our guest services at the event. Cons Must be knowledgeable about the software ahead of time. Not ideal for those who are not familiar with the product. Temporary staff takes a bit of time to get used to it. We get great reviews from our event attendees on how much they enjoy the registration process and how streamlined it is. Cons We are very interested in using CrowdCompass but for a non-profit, it is a significantly high price. We are working to make this a viable option for us over the course of the next year. Pros The software provides beaucoup capabilities for creating a conference. It includes abstract management, website development, and the awesome option to copy and paste meetings that have been created, like a template. The software is generally intuitive, in areas, but could still benefit from more thoughtful layouts and training videos. Cons Training videos and tools are not good. Not only are the videos too brief, but the written material leaves the reader wanting more. I think they should really look at their training platforms. While they offer a lot of options, and even recommend packages, the videos they offer are not well-constructed. Review Source BC Brian C. They promptly send detailed reports of your call so you have a record of the issue and can refer back. The system is constantly being reevaluated based on user feedback. Pros It is constantly changing and being updated to what is going on in the events industry. The workers are dedicated to constantly provide their customers with more! Cons Our event was a bit complicated so the group flight section didn't work for our group. Instead we had to place them in sessions, making things a bit more complicated. Review Source MF Matthew F. We are working on building an SMMP and without CVENT, we would have to do a lot more manual labor and report building to take a look at where we are, and what we need to work on. Pros I love the reporting options. Easy to pull standard reports and create customer reports. Cons There are some features that are set in stone and don't have the capacity to meet some of my sometime, "out of the box" ideas. September 29, 2016 5.0 Eventgrid is a well thought out, easy to set up and manage event ticketing platform. We have been using it for almost a year and have had nothing but great service from the company and ease of use for our team. The platform is easy to use so set up for your event is very simple. Once you have everything ready you simply start promoting the event and Eventgrid takes care of everything else. We had looked around and were considering using another platform when we were starting to conduct our social media workshops but after working with Eventgrid, we have no reason to look elsewhere. If you are considering using an event ticketing platform, we highly suggest you give these guys a try - you will be very pleased with everything they have to offer. The chat tool is by far my favourite way to get instant answers to the more cut and dry inquiries that I have. Cons It can feel a little daunting to try and grasp how much the tool can be customized for you needs - and to determine how best to utilize it for each specific event.
