"breath of fresh air"

**Overall:** Before WorkStory, completing annual performance reviews was drudgery. WorkStory is a "breath of fresh air" from the traditional performance review process. Their onboarding process was also excellent, coming directly from one of the founders.

**Pros:** Their common sense approach has made the performance review process magnitudes easier and less stressful. Their chat/email integrations streamline the process. Connecting WorkStory with Microsoft Teams was a breeze!

**Cons:** With their chat integration (MS Teams), you answer a question and then it's sent and gone, into the void of their cloud. It should be easier to review what was sent or to make corrections after the initial question was sent. So, I'm supposed to log in through the web to do this? There is an option to "Sign in with Google" but no SSO/OAuth option for my work email?

**Switched From:** [Insperity](https://www.capterra.com/p/56017/Insperity-Recruiting/) and [TriNet](https://www.capterra.com/p/192254/TriNet/)

**Reasons for Switching to WorkStory:** Costs and drudgery. Other platforms exemplify the drudgery of doing performance reviews. WorkStory solves the problem.

On the MS Teams feedback flow, we try to focus on quick in-and-out and then allowing you to take other, more complex, action as needed directly in the platform. Also appreciate the note on SSO/OAuth. We hear this often, and it’s something we’re currently building toward...expanded SSO options are on the way to make access easier for teams using different identity providers! "Workstory review"

**Overall:** I really like the tool, it looks like performance review process will be easier this year comparing to previous ones, when I spent more than a day to write reviews about other employees and myself.

**Pros:** I like that my feedback about employees is gathered in small parts. Every time, I answer to specific question, so I assume it will be more helpful for managers at the end. The tool is very easy to use, its configuration is simple (I set up integration with MS Teams).

**Cons:** The only thing I found currently is that the notifications of new goals specified in the systems are not send with an email or Teams message. But that's rather a minor issue.

**Reasons for Switching to WorkStory:** This was a company switch, I had no choice.

Hi Miłosz, really appreciate you taking the time to share this, glad to hear the platform has been easy to use and that collecting feedback in smaller moments is helpful. Great callout on the goal notifications as well. Goal requests are sent through integrations like Teams, but updates themselves aren’t pushed as notifications—they’re designed to build up over time and be easily viewed within the platform as part of the bigger picture.
