The MLC add-inn is the BEST thing to happen to PowerPoint since it was invented. The functionality they have added to PowerPoint is INSANE! I edit a lot of slide decks created by other people and I cannot live without the Consistency Manager and Brand Colours - taking control of Fonts and Colours is so easy and saves so much time. Being a perfectionist I also love the Advanced Copy/Paste and alignment options. I have been using it for over 3 years and it has been great to see how Maurizio and the team are continually developing and enhancing the functionality. They are very open to feedback and respond very quickly to all communications. Try it free for 7 days - you will love it too.

Pros

Consistency Manager and Brand Colours - taking control of Fonts and Colours is so easy and saves so much time. Being a perfectionist I also love the Advanced Copy/Paste and alignment options. Customer service is great - always get a quick response and they have listened to feedback offered and improved the product.

Cons

Nothing to not like. Everything works as it should.

Responsiveness of the loading of resources from Graphics Library. The library could be improved grouping the icons. After I habe picked an icon I want to be consistent with that icon picking from the same library.

MLC makes presentation creation quick and easy. Enjoy learning more about the program through events and webinars. Customer service is extremely responsible but barely needed.I use MLC to create quick presentations that are consistent with our branding guidelines. I utilize the consistency checker for our fonts and colors.

In the beginning, it can take some getting used to. I found the webinars to be helpful!It makes PPT a bit slower to open, but it is worth it when in use.

What I'm noticing is that I'm much faster in creating a presentation, and the ability to interface with all these tools that MLC provides definitely makes presentations more efficient as well.

Pros

What I liked most about MLC Add-in is the ease of use, having the different icons at my fingertips to speed up work on PowerPoint, but above all, they are presented in a friendly user interface, which is priceless. Other things that I am really appreciating are the ability to split text, apply masks or crop images, have access to a graphic library with high-resolution images, icons in SWT format, the option to implement a custom graphic library, all with remarkable ease of use.

Cons

At the moment, I am unable to pinpoint specific areas in which I am not entirely satisfied.

I liked that ability to speed up normal activities by only using 1 click instead of up to 5. The benefit of ensuring photos/ boxes are all the same size with one click without having to arrange each photo individually

So far I haven't found a down side to the software. It does take some getting used to knowing which icon to press for a certain outcome, but that will come with more use
